Hello friends, today I will be sharing with my foodie fans how I made my special fried rice and peppered chicken for a small gathering. My special fried rice recipe is one that you need to try out. It looks really amazing and taste very great.
INGREDIENTS
- 4cups of basmati rice
- 3 pieces of carrot
- 3LB weight of chicken
- 200g of fresh pepper
- 4 pieces of hot dog
- half cup of groundnut oil
- 1 large size green pepper
- 1 large size yellow pepper
- 2 leek
- 2 ounce of onions
- 1 red pepper
- 2 fingers of ripe plantain
- seasoning
- salt
PREPARATION
- parboil the 4cups of basmati rice for about 15mins using medium heat.
- this is what the basmati rice looks like after parboiling.
- wash all the vegetables properly, then go ahead and slice them.
- wash your plantain, dice them in cube form, fry until it turns golden brown.
- on a clean pan, add your groundnut oil, add vegetables, hotdog and fry on low heat for like 30secs. Add salt as well as seasoning.
N:B~I did not fry all the vegetables
- Add your already parboiled rice into the frying vegetable. Stir very well, and also add the remaining vegetables left.
- continue stirring for 1min using low heat. After that, add your already fried plantain and stir properly.
- stir very well and ensure that all the vegetables are properly mixed. As you can see the special fried rice is ready to be served.
PREPARATION FOR PEPPERED CHICKEN
- wash chicken properly to remove dirty.
- place washed chicken in a pot, add seasoning, salt, fresh pepper, onions, curry and cook properly.
- on another pan, add a little groundnut oil, add diced carrot and fresh pepper. Add seasoning to taste. Stir very well, and allow to cook for like 10mins. Your pepper chicken is ready to be served with the special fried rice.
