The ingredients are variable depending on the vegetables you have available at home, but the important thing is the caramelized pork, these ingredients are designed in portions for 2 people or 4 tacos:

Los ingredientes son variables según las verduras que tengas disponibles en casa pero lo importante es el cerdo caramelizado, estos ingredientes estan pensados en porción para 2 personas o 4 tacos:

The meat

The first step is to cook the meat, this will be the protagonist in flavor of our tacos so its flavor must be strong, in my personal recipe we fry a little pepper and oregano in oil to release the flavors and impregnate the oil, then add the pork that we previously cut into medium strips.

When the pork is golden and begins to be a bit crispy, add the Worcestershire sauce and the 3 tablespoons of sugar, at this point you have to be very careful to get the consistency of the caramel just right, you want it to be thick but not too much because it can burn The candy.

La Carne

El primer paso consiste en cocinar la carne, esta será la protagonista en sabor de nuestros tacos asi que su sabor debe ser fuerte, en mi receta personal sofreimos en aceite un poco de pimienta y orégano para que suelten los sabores e impregnen el aceite, luego agregamos el cerdo que previamente cortamos en tiras medianas.

Cuando el cerdo este dorado y comience a estar un poco crujiente agregamos la salsa inglesa y las 3 cucharadas de azúcar, en este punto hay que estar muy atentos a conseguir la consistencia del caramelo justa, se busca que sea espesa pero no demasiado porque puede quemarse el caramelo.

Vegetables

We turn off the stove and leave the pork covered, then we proceed to chop the tomato, paprika and cucumber into very small squares, the lettuce must be washed very well with vinegar and water, let dry and then proceed to chop into small pieces with the hands so it doesn't rust.

The corn is removed from the can, washed in the strainer to remove the remains of the preservatives and the tortilla can be eaten plain or it can be grilled for a few seconds to make it a little warmer.

Las verduras

Apagamos la cocina y dejamos tapado el cerdo, luego procedemos a picar en cuadros muy pequeños el tomate, el pimenton y el pepino, la lechuga debe lavarse muy bien con vinagre y agua dejar secar y luego se procede a picar en trozos pequeños con las manos para que no se oxide.

El maíz se saca de la lata, se lava en el colador para retirar los restos de los conservantes y la tortilla puede comerse al natural o se puede pasar por la plancha unos segundos para que este un poco mas tibia.

Assemble the cue

We place the tortilla on a wide plate, I like to assemble it in the following order because visually it looks very good and because when you eat it there is a good distribution of flavors in each bite.

First we add a mattress of lettuce, on this and all over the middle of the tortilla the tomato and the bell pepper, on these red ingredients we add the cucumber and the corn, culminating with abundant Parmesan cheese, fold it and place all the meat all over the top of the heel.

Armar el taco

Colocamos la tortilla sobre un plato ancho, me gusta armarlo en el siguiente orden porque visualmente queda muy bien y porque al comerlo hay una buena distribución de los sabores en cada mordida.

Primero agregamos un colchón de lechuga, sobre esta y por todo el medio de la tortilla el tomate y el morrón, sobre estos ingredientes rojos agregamos el pepino y el maiz, culminando con abundante queso parmesano, lo doblas y colocas toda la carne por toda la parte superior del taco.

If your family has 4 members, you only have to double the portion of the ingredients so that each one can enjoy two tacos, although Fran and I are big eaters with two of these, he is satisfied, we love to accompany it with a cold lemonade and the same recipe of the meat we use in other meals because it has so much flavor that it gives prominence to any dish.

Si tu familia es de 4 integrantes solo debes doblar la porción de los ingredientes para que cada uno pueda disfrutar de dos tacos, aunque Fran y yo somos comelones con dos de estos se queda satisfecho, nos encanta acompañarlo con una limonada fría y la misma receta de la carne la utilizamos en otras comidas porque tiene tanto sabor que le da el protagonismo a cualquier plato.
