Hi Foodies :)
Today I made one of the tastiest dishes I have ever made or eaten. I used all the technique's I have learned recently to conjure up a batch of golden chicken fried rice that was so tasty it blew my mind :).
Let me show you the process I used.
First of lets make our seasoning,here is everything we need.
We start by adding 6 tablespoons of flour to our plate.
Into this we add 2 teaspoons of each of these...
Turmeric
Paprika
Chili powder
Salt
Onion granules
Chopped garlic granules
I also added half of a chicken stock cube.
Mix everything together, this is going to be the coating for our chicken.
For a while I have wondered what it would taste like if I added a crispy coating to these chicken snack bites.Today I found out the results are pretty outstanding!
These chicken snacks are all ready pretty tasty right out the bag but we are going kick the flavour right up to level 11 :).
We can use regular pieces of chicken for this but if you can find these flavoured chicken snacks give this a try.Throw your whole pack of chicken into the seasonging.
Mix it around until its nicely coated.
Next mix up 2 eggs in a bowl and throw the seasoned chicken in.
Mix it around until all the chicken is covered in egg.
Then throw all the egg covered chicken pieces back in the seasoning for another coating.
Now our incredibly well seasoned chicken is ready for frying!
Heat up some oil in a frying pan or wok.I used extra virgin olive oil for this batch.
Because the chicken is already cooked these pieces will cook real fast ,only a few minutes and they start to look beautifully golden.
The smell of the seasoned chicken frying activates my saliva glands and I cant wait to taste these lovey golden sticks of joy :).

Its worth trying just this part, this chicken is so good you could sell it and people would come back for more. Move over KFC there's a new gunslinger in town!
Heres where it gets even more fun...
We have this left over egg wash that is loaded up with seasoning from dipping all the chicken in it.
And we have this oil that is also loaded with flavour from frying our chicken pieces.
Lets combine the egg wash with the oil and see what happens...
Scramble it up...
Because the egg mixture has some flour in it from the seasoning it fluffs up making some of the nicest looking scrambled eggs I have ever seen.
I didnt realise this would happen and was pleasantly surprized, these fluffy egg pieces will add to the overall look and taste of our rice and could be served as a side dish on their own.
Now its time to add some chopped onions , garlic and peas.
Stir fry everything until the peas have cooked and the onions are soft and starting to turn translucent. Again I think this right here could make a nice meal or side dish on its own.
Now its time to add our rice. For best result's use rice that was cooked the day before and has had time to dry out.
One of my secret ingredient's for really tasty fried rice is to add half a chicken stock cube.
Ok so now the rice is done and I'm starting to get really hungry :).

I will definitely be making this again real soon. I devoured the whole plate so fast I had to lie down for a while before writing up this post.
Hopefully I have inspired some of you to try this. Using the seasoned egg mixture and the oil we used to fry the chicken really adds a ton of flavour. Then throwing in the remaining half of the chicken stock when we are frying the rice really cranks the flavour to the next level.
