Today I'm back in the kitchen, my favorite laboratory to create delicacies and pamper my family, especially my little ones, in a healthy and nutritious way, with the strangest combination of ingredients hahaha; yesterday afternoon I had the idea to make some delicious green pea-based ice cream, being a recipe with great vitamins and proteins for the body. The truth is that I never thought of getting such a wonderful result, I myself was surprised with the taste and texture so great that resulted from this invention hahaha; many will think it is a somewhat crazy recipe, but from this type of combinations are born the best delicacies to pamper our palate and help us activate all our taste buds.

-1 taza de arvejas verde.
-200 gramos de panela o papelón.
-6 cucharadas de leche en polvo.
-4 cucharadas de azúcar.
-3 tazas de agua.
-Canela en polvo al gusta.

Preparación:
-Primeramente lavamos bien las arvejas verdes, y luego las colocamos a remojar por una hora en una taza con suficiente agua.

-Pasado este tiempo con la mano procedemos a quitar las conchas.

-Colocamos en una olla, a derretir la panela; luego colocamos 1 taza de agua, la azúcar, canela al gusto y las arvejas verdes ya desconchadas, las cocinamos por 30 minutos para lograr que se ablanden. Por otra parte batimos la leche en 1 taza de agua.

-Ya lista la merengada la vertemos en vasos o en los recipientes de tu preferencia. Llevamos al refrigerador y dejamos congelar toda la noche.

Listos nuestros helados; les confieso que cuando estaba preparando esta receta estaba algo dudoso, pero cuando los probé me sorprendí del excelente sabor que obtuve, mi esposa a quien no le gustan las arvejas también se sorprendió y ni les cuento mis hijos Juan y Matthias, se degustaron sus helados como si se tratara de cualquier helado tradicional jajajaja. Ayer estuvo de visita mi hermana Chiquin y le di un helado, le dije que si adivinaba de que era le daba un premio; les cuento que jamás pensó que eran arvejas verdes y se lo comió, decía “esta muy sabroso pero no se que es” y seguía comiendo, cuando le dije la base se sorprendió y me dijo “igual están muy buenos” jajajaja.
