Dear members of the Foodies Bee Hive group, greetings!
Every Saturday at one o'clock in the morning, my husband and I watched a livestream on Twitch for an hour. We've been doing this for a month or two, I guess. We are enjoying the livestream because there is a crypto token giveaway worth nine dollars for the winner. Also, the announcement for the weekly challenge is being made for the mobile games that we used to play.
Usually, after we watched the livestream, we immediately jumped into bed and went to sleep. But this time, we found ourselves starving, so we looked for something we could eat in the kitchen.
I only got two packs of misua noodles, one small pack of pork chicharon, and a piece of leftover fried chicken. It's already dawn here, so obviously no retail stores are open nearby. So I decided to cook a misua soup. I used to cook this soup with patola (silk squash), but this time I had to cook without it.
Misua Soup with Chicharon
Here are my Ingredients for my Misua Soup Today:
cooking oil
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 pc chicken (chopped)
1 pc chicken cube
misua noodles
chicharon
fish sauce
ground pepper
Instructions:
1. On a preheated pan, sauté the garlic and onions.
2. Add the chopped chicken and fish sauce, then sauté.
3. Bring to a boil after adding water, chicken cubes, and freshly ground pepper. Because there were only two little packs of misua noodles, I only put 3 cups of water to the dish.
4. After it boils, remove from the heat and stir in the misua noodles. Because the noodles are so thin, I prefer to avoid overcooking them.
And it's prepared! So quickly! We can now take satisfaction in it. For toppings, we added the chicharon.
It is ideal to make this when you are pressed for time because it is so simple to prepare. Sardines and eggs can also be used to prepare misua.
I sincerely hope you all loved today's simple dish.
