It is a Sunday and I can think of no better way to end the weekend but dinner with friends. Although it is a little late in the night already, the restaurant is packed with people. We had to wait 10 minutes to be shown our table. But it was worth it.
The restaurant we went to is the Adaminte Chayakada. It literally means Adam's tea shop. But this restaurant serves more than just tea. It serves great food.

One of the things we ordered was the basic Aam Panna – it is a steamed raw mango juice spiced with green chili, cumin, sugar and salt. Aam Panna is very refreshing especially in the summer months. I was amazed at how this was served. The juice was, however, a little too thick and a little too sweet, but it was still refreshing.
