This is a traditional Swedish food and is popular particularly on special occasions like birthday parties, weddings or simply a get-together time.A lavish dish and enjoyed year round.
At first glance you think it's beautiful to the eye that before you have even tasted the food, your eyes have already judged it. This cake has layers or flavor and textures.What's underneath the art?
Ingredients: Slice bread,mayonnaise, whip cream,hard boil egg, dill, finely chopped onion. Combine all the ingredients and on a sturdy platter lay out 6-9 slices of bread or your desired size of the cake, laying them out to form the base of the cake then spread the mixture over the bread. Then top another same numbers of slice bread and do same process. You can also alter the taste of each layer by adding your prefered flavor. In my case, I like fruits and sea foods. So the first layer is the mixture with eggs, then the second layer I would add finely chopped fruits. Whatever flavor you want just add it to the mixture. There are no rules to garnishing.The photos are all mine and I garnish them myself. Another thing about this food is that you can pair it with any drinks you want; coffee, soda, beer all great.
Garnishing is the most fun part.
