5 foodies pictograms to make your life easier

in #hive-1205863 years ago

Hello hello dear Ecencians, it is a lovely Tuesday that we have ahead of us and I decided to share with you guys some life-hacks that I discovered yesterday while I was scouring my Twitter feed!

In my quest for knowledge (and in my quest for boredom-killing), I found 5 pictograms that I am about to share with you guys that you can genuinely say that they are indeed some of the best (and most useful) life hacks out there! Without any further ado, let's dig right in!

1. Know Your Coffee

Coffee is quite probably the best drink ever to be invented in the history of man kind. And as time went by, we have had many different instances of coffee introduced in our lifestyles - on the one hand, I am a fairly simple girl, I just enjoy a single or double espresso with no sugar. But on the other hand, you have people that really want to experiment with their coffee with sugar, milk, milk foam and even ice cream. So, this pictogram that is handily known as 'Know Your Coffee' helps you with memorizing the components of every bit of coffee that is familiar around the world! Affogato coffee was the only bit that was unfamiliar to me - with a reason though, ice cream mixed with coffee? I rather stick with my espresso.. More espresso, less depresso! 😂😂

2. Watermelon ripeness

Who else around here is an avid lover of watermelons? Well, as being a very huge fan of this quite awesome fruit, I have always had the difficulty of knowing which watermelons taste best on the outside. But never fear - as the pictogram clearly shows, things such as white/orange spots, 'webbing' factors, the gender of the melon and also the stem tail can clearly showcase if the watermelon is sweet, tasteless, bland or watery! Watermelon comes a close second to cherries for my favorite fruits.. Cherries, watermelons and grapes - the holy grail of delicious fruits!

3. When to eat a banana?

Now, here is a disclaimer right away: I am not a particular banana lover. I stay clear of it due to the fact that I much prefer my holy grail of delicious fruits. Having said that though, it is clear that the banana is a very popular fruit - so this pictogram shows you precisely what you will be getting from a banana depending on the colouration of its yellow skin!

4. Wine sweetness charts

Ahhh yes.. FINALLY a pictogram that will be utilized properly! 😂😂 This one is pretty self-explanatory - with this pictogram, you will know precisely which wine to order without having to ask the waiter about its sweetness - dry, medium sweet or sweet, just one quick glance on the pictogram is all you need in order to vow your date with your wine-knowing skills! 😂

5. Cake Extravaganza

Last but not least, here is a quick how-to in order to make your cake exactly as it came from a bakery! Just a simple swap of ingredients will do the trick - and your cake lovers will enjoy your creation of sweetness for days to come!

So there you have it guys - a nice, informative, picturesque Tuesday post courtesy of your Goddess! 😄

I really hope you learned a thing or two.. or five. Have a great day ahead of you! 🌸

Wow, this is really informative. I've always loved watermelon but I don't always get the one that is very sweet but I'm sure I will henceforth.

Thank you for sharing this with us, happy Tuesday @goddesseva.

thank you! Have a wonderful day and week ahead of you 🧡

Yeah I will, you too @goddesseva.
Nice to meet you by the way 🤝.

Thanks for sharing this information. I like the pictures. I'm a very visual minded person so this way is very easy to understand.

thank you! glad you like it 🌸

Thank you for taking time to find these infographic gems! They're definitely going to make a difference in both our enjoyment of food and drink as well as in our wallets.

For some reason I'm not surprised that Americano-style coffee is mostly water! 🤣

The watermelon and banana infographics are definitely useful, and now I know what to look for when I visit the markets. From your experience, would the information from the watermelon infographic hold true for melons such as cantaloupes and honeydew as well?

The wine infographic is the most impressive for me just because there is so much mystique surrounding wine that it's easy to fool people or to be fooled by people when it comes to wine. The infographic is an excellent starting point for learning more about wine.

The bakery-style cake infographic is worth sharing, for sure.

Thanks again for this publishing this post. 😁

I would say that cantaloupes and honeydew should have similar traits to watermelons. You are very welcome! I just wanted to share with the Ecency world these wonderous illustrations that I found :D
