Hello Hivers and have a Blessed Day!
Vegetables are one of my favorite foods since they are healthful and provide nutrients that are good for our bodies. Pinaket is a popular and widely consumed Filipino vegetable dish that is a personal favorite of mine.
In this post, I'll give you a quick instruction on how to make PINAKBET, one of my favorite vegetable dishes.
I am not very skilled at cooking, but I progressively improved as I constantly observed how my mother prepared meals, and I am grateful to God because I believe it was prepared correctly and tasted so nice.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
- Sliced Mixed Vegetables usually (Squash, Eggplant, String Beans, Okra, Bitter Gourd). Just add other vegetables you want.
- 1/4 Sliced Beef or any kind of meat you like to add flavor.
- Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce
Salt and Seasonings - 2 tablespoon of any Coking Oil
- 2 Cups of Water
- Spicies (Sliced Onion and Sliced Garlic)
Procedures on how to cook PINAKBET:
- Prepared each of the ingredients as directed.
- Then turn on the burner, and heat the frying pan. Put a tablespoon of any cooking oil you choose when it's hot enough, then wait for it to heat up.
- Garlic and onion should be simmered till golden brown. Add the sliced beef or any other meat you like to add when it turns golden brown, mixing the meat thoroughly with the spices before adding water to cook and covering.
- Uncover the frying pan and see if the beef is already cooked.
- Depending on your preference, add some soy sauce and oyster sauce. If you want to enhance taste, season with salt and other ingredients.
- After the beef has finished cooking, combine and thoroughly combine all of the sliced vegetables. If the water is insufficient to fully cook the vegetables, add more water, cover the pan, and let it stew for a while.
- Wait for at least 4 minutes, then check to see if the vegetables are cooked through and taste them. The PINAKBET is currently prepared for serving after more than 5 minutes.
Here is the finished dish I prepared today, which includes my beloved panko. This will be our breakfast this morning. This is incredibly inexpensive and simple to prepare, and I hope that everyone will like cooking it and giving it a try.
That's all I have for now. I hope everyone enjoys this straightforward guide and gives it a shot at home. See you in my upcoming installment of the Foodies Bee Hive Tutorial.
