Hey peeps..!!
Today i am going to share with you all my food experience at a restaurant with Pakistani cuisine.I visit this place along with my friends. We use university transport for reaching to our spot.
Our destination spot was located at the top floor of three story building .We took an elevator. One of my mates is so afraid of elevators as she grabed us by our sleeves once the elevator uplifts.
At first, let me show you the interior of this restaurant. It has been decorated using Pakistani traditional items. The roof, tables, and walls are adorned with elements that showcase Pakistani culture. The restaurant is known as “Khabbay ki Sajji”.Sajji”means whole roasted piece of chicken.
This is the menue card of the restaurant.
As you can see, these lights are made from earthen cups. First, earthenware cups were used, and then lights were installed in them. Traditional wooven mats were used, and fans were installed above them.
Same goes for the serving tables.Below the glass there were wooven mats which enhances the look of tables.
At the entrance this wall was decorated with wicker plates in which we use to eat Roti. These wooven mats, wicker plates, earthenware cups shows our traditional kitchenware.
This chandelier caught my eyes and it was so alluring.
You know these are colourful bangles which are used to made this magnificient inner wall.
And here is the limelight of the restaurant. The thing in your eyes is actually a wooven chapatti basket in which we place chapattis to keep them warm but here lights are placed inside them. Don't you think the person who came up with this idea and created this lighting system deserves praise?
These are walls designed with famous Pakistani Truck Art.
This is the table we picked for ourselves in the corner and this steel pot is placed there for famous green sauce used with Pakistani foods.
Here is the platter we ordered for ourselves with Biryani and different roasted items.
I made a plate for myself and the food was so delicious . We ate at our fullest. And this was budget friendly too.
On our way back we spotted a shop with lovely Abayas and stolers . We stopped by for having a look.
Then we dropped ourselves at a doughnut shop because i have to buy some for me.I really like Lotur filled doughnuts alot.
Then we visited a nearby pharmacy for purchasing some medicines . There we spotted a weighing machine and one by one we weighed ourselves.
Our last spot an icecream corner ,you know i couldn’t return without paying my regards to icecream .😆
So Here ended our sweet journey with sweet food.
We really had a good time .
Meet you on next blog.
Take care.
