Hi, dear Hivers friends. Welcome back to my blog. For more than a week I always eat beef, because last Eid al-Adha I got a lot of beef. I am very tired of processing meat as a food menu. So, I decided to cook chicken soup with the addition of meatballs. Therefore, this morning I went to the traditional market to buy some fresh chicken pieces and also ready-made meatballs.
Incidentally, where I live is not far from the traditional market, so I only have to walk 100 meters to get there. In addition to being very close, traditional markets also sell all cooking needs at very cheap prices. not like in the supermarket the price is much more expensive. When I got home, I immediately went to the kitchen to make chicken and meatball soup. I will share the recipe for making it here too.
To make this chicken and meatball soup, I have to prepare the ingredients, namely;
- Fresh chicken (which has been cut)
- Meatball
- Garlic
- Red onion
- Ginger
- Galangal
- Cardamom
- Bay leaf
- Leek (sliced)
- Parsley (sliced)
- salt
- Carrots (chopped)
- Potatoes (which have been cut)
How to make;
Finely grind the garlic, onion, ginger, and galangal with a blender or stone mortar. Once smooth, stir-fry in a frying pan using a little cooking oil and medium heat. After the fragrant aroma appears, add the bay leaves, cardamom, carrots and potatoes. then stir until smooth. After that, add the chicken and meatballs, and stir again until blended. After that, put the water in the pan and add the parsley and leek. Let it simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat. After that, turn off the stove and add salt to taste, stir slowly. Transfer the soup to a large bowl and the soup is ready to be enjoyed.
That was the recipe for chicken and meatball soup that I can share here. Maybe you guys there want to make it too. Thank you for reading my blog. Nice to meet you
