Hello foodies š.... it's my first time here, hope I'm welcome šš
Yay!! It's my first post on this community and I'm sure it won't be my last cos I'm a foodie !!
Being a part of hive and finding out it has a community where people can share food ideas, recipes and stuff is amazing. I'm really looking forward to trying out new recipes and I'm exited about it .. I'll surely learn new delicacies with their recipes ,improve on the ones I know already and definitely share my ideas and recipes too. Honestly,I love good food and love cooking too so you'll be having more of me here!!
So... I woke up this morning and I decided to have spaghetti and boiled egg for breakfast. I'm in school (Abia state University in Nigeria) and here in Nigeria ,the Eastern states(igbos) are observing "sit-at-home" and there's no way to go out to get stuffs for my meal so I just have to make use of what I have at home.
These are all I have to prepare my jollof spaghetti at home:
Spaghetti
Groundnut oil,
pepper, onion,
Spices, crayfish
And eggs.
I know you'd be wondering why I did what I did to the crayfish,I actually separated the head from it's body to grind it together with some part of the Onion because there's this unique taste it gives that I love while i just put the body inside without grinding it.
While waiting for the spaghetti to boil ,I started boiling the egg, lol,no time to waste time š
Another thing I usually do when cooking jollof spaghetti is adding carrots , trust me you'll love it!!
but like I mentioned I couldn't go to the market of the "sit-at-home"
So...this is how my food turned out to be ššššÆ
Some person's add fish and fresh tomatoes to there jollof spaghetti but I haven't tried that out ,I'll try it and definitely let you know how it was š.
This is how I prepare my jollof spaghetti, how do you prepare yours?
