Healthy lunch idea

in #hive-1205862 years ago

Hi everyone, today I want to share a bit of what my lunch was like. I tried to make a slightly healthier option, plus I already wanted to eat something like that, a little less elaborate.

Hola a todos, hoy quiero compartir un poco de lo que fue mi almuerzo. Traté de hacer una opción un poco más saludable, además de que ya tenía ganas de comer algo así, un poco menos elaborado.

For this we start by making the rice first.

Para esto comenzamos por hacer primero el arroz.

Then we cut a tomato and half a cucumber into small pieces, now we are going to occupy a can of tuna, and we are going to mix all this, this will be a tuna salad. Add salt, pepper and also a dressing, the one you prefer.

Luego cortamos en pequeños trozos un tomate y medio pepino, ahora vamos a ocupar una lata de atún, y todo esto lo vamos a mezclar, está será una ensalada de atún. Añadimos sal, pimienta y también un dressing, el que prefieran.

We are also going to eat half avocado.

También vamos a comer medio aguacate.

With this ready, I only assemble my plate and this is how my lunch was done. It was pretty quick and healthy too.

Con esto listo, ya solamente armo mi plato y así queda mi almuerzo. Fue algo bastante rápido y también saludable.

Sort:

I ate tuna at lunch and will eat some after my workout... I like it but wouldn't eat too much of it cuz of these rumors regarding mercury and ocean fish.

Man, I didn't know that! I think I live in a rock

Very healthy & tasty looking your lunch

Thank you

Truly healthy food for the body also contains a lot of cereals.

I will remove "healthy" in my next post hahaha because it's definitely not healthy

Ok, here I go. This is by the way health-wise extreme analyses and I proclaimed war to food propaganda.

Four out of five ingredients on your list are inflammatory.
Unfortunately, we all live in cultures and systems that rarely take notice of more profound issues with our food supply.

Tuna is excellent, one of my favorites, I will always take that one, but a problem comes with can. Either fresh or in glass, or if nothing else a plastic container. I don't know if there are any, we always have them in cans. There are two people I know in person who develop allergies to metals, it doesn't look pretty. I personally avoid cans like fire.

Avocado is great, I would eat it every day but in my country, they are not native and are horribly expensive. Over a dollar for a piece. Otherwise, I didn't find any criminal record for it ( for now). I eat them seasoned with salt and lemon juice.

Nightshades such as tomato, grains such as rice, and squash/pumpkins such as cucumber contain certain proteins called lectins. Pumpkins have a chemical compound extra to ruin themselves for us.
These are disruptive to our bodies in general to a different degree. Cooked or pickled, without seeds and peel most of these plants are ok, but grains and soy have it in a stable form so no use for cooking or baking. Even common white potatoes have it but unpeeled and cooked lose it.

I will give you an idea, that looks similar in appearance to this and will have no anti-nutrients.

Let's say we find tuna that is not in a metallic container ( by miracle). We can also mix it with cooked carrot cubes and fresh celery cut into small pieces. If you enjoy a sour version of tomatoes, you can treat celery with lemon juice until you prepare the rest. Frozen carrots from the store are usually done in a few minutes.

Instead of rice which is calory-dense, I usually make boiled potatoes into a puree and season it with salt, olive oil, and garlic powder. That adds extra calories.
If you hate this combination you can season it with salt and butter. Don't use sunflower oil or margarine.

If you find yourself wanting to eat your favorite combination of tuna, and rice and then also put salt on all of that like it is a holiday's glitter, you might want to add more Magnesium to your daily diet for your brain and muscles. It is very hard to supply enough of it from a common food so any form of supplement is good, Magnesium malate is the best.

I hope you enjoyed my analyses and that I gave you more ideas for cooking and food. I will come again. Enjoy your day!

Thank you I actually appreciate your comment! There are a couple things that I almost don't eat, like potatoes, pumpkin. And from all my food I remove seeds. I didn't know that about the cans. I try to buy everything in the local market, the good thing is that almost everything is local and I live near to the sea, so I can buy more fish in a natural way !
