Greetings to every member of this community for I'm happy to be here today. As a newbie I'm will be learning fast from this community as i hope my membership is accepted here.
I will be sharing an important updates concerning my afternoon meal. This meal is called Abacha this name is the general name which is known for here in Nigeria. The Ibibio called it Edita-iwa. This is a meal gotten from cassava.
How it's been processed
• Harvest the cassava
• Pea the cassava
• cook the cassava
• slice the cassava
• put it in a container and put little water on it, then keep it till the next day.
This is how this food is being processed.
This Abacha food is always prepared by the Igbos. Through out my stay in Ebonyi state, i saw that this food cannot be exempted in any occasion that takes place. The rate of which the Igbos eats this food cannot be measured.
Back then when i saw how people are consuming this meal, i will be wondering how it taste and what it gives in the body. I decided to taste it one day because of the way it was garnished. I bought one plate which was #150 but i just wasted my money because i didn't eat the food. I only removed the kpomo that was put there and eat.
Since then, i have developed the appetite of eating abacha the more and now a plate is #300. As you can see at the picture above how we were enjoying the abacha.
You can get this abacha at the road site, market place and via hacking. It satisfied utility.
