A food fail story
At one point, you might encounter the case like in my title. While I understand there are many numerous factors, doesn’t it ick you when it comes out horribly? there are many cases like that just as you see in this post. Well, it happened to me too just recently.
I ordered a food from a restaurant in town that are quite well-known. I have been to the place a couple of times, and the food has always been teriffic. The atmosphere and everything were semi fine-dining but guess what, when I was ordering from the delivery, I did not expect the tuna salad that I ordered would came out looking like this. In fact, the salad that I ordered from salad bar in town looked even more proper than this one.
They come in a bamboo box like this looking pretty ethnic but voila, when I was opening up the box, it looked so unappetizing. However, I didn’t want to waste the money and I ended up just eating them. While I thought the tuna would be in cubed, apparently it was shredded tuna. This is pretty overpriced, considering that the vegetables used are not an expensive ones too.
This is my second incident where I ordered from restaurants but their delivery system is pretty sub-par. It’s always best to dine it at the place but one thing I learned is to never ever order their online food because their packaging always fails miserably. Perhaps they shouldn’t advertise the plating that they serve at the restaurant, rather just being honest with how it would actually look like. Have you ever experienced something like that?
