Today I will be making fluffy and soft snacks, which are popularly known as "doughnuts." Doughnuts are an all-purpose snack; they can be served at a party or any event, and they can also be served as a breakfast for those who don't like to eat anything heavy in the morning.
Doughnuts can also be served as lunch with any type of drink. Can you now see it is a multipurpose snack? So let's get into the kitchen and see how I made my all-purpose doughnuts.
I love homemade food, so I prepared the doughnuts in a special way I love with the regular ingredients most of us have at home.
Ingredients are:
All-purpose flour (1 cup)
Sugar (2 tablespoons)
Butter (quarter tablespoon)
Powdered Milk (62g)
Yeast (5g)
Baking powder (quarter tablespoon)
Nutmeg (5g)
Powdered flavor (quarter tablespoon)
Egg (1 piece)
Oil (500g)
Procedure
I put one teacup of water on the burner and allowed it to warm, then I poured it inside a clean bowl, then I poured the yeast inside and stirred for it to dissolve inside the water.
I added the powdered flavor, the nutmeg, and the sugar, then stirred for two seconds so that the sugar would dissolve as well.
I added the flour gradually and mixed it as well. I added the powdered milk, the egg, butter, and the baking powder, then mixed again.
It didn't form a dough instantly because it was too hard, so I started adding water gradually until it formed a dough.
I transferred it into a bigger bowl because I would leave it to rise, so I covered the bowl and put it under the sun for about 30 minutes.
After that, I applied oil to a clean flat pan and transferred the dough to it.
I also applied oil to the chopping board and the rolling pin, then cut a small quantity of the dough and spread it out with the rolling pin.
I folded some, then I made another design of doughnuts with a round shape.
Now it's time to fry. I put a small frying pan on the burner, added oil, and allowed it to get hot a little bit.
I started putting the dough inside and frying it on low heat so that it wouldn't get burned.
When it turned golden brown, I packed them from the oil.
Now, the fluffy doughnuts with different shapes are ready to be served as my lunch. I hope you like them.
