Our recent visit to the Indian Spicy restaurant in Mohammadpur, Dhaka - Bangladesh, turned out to be a delightful experience adding a special touch to our evening.

Nestled in a bustling area, this restaurant has become a favorite spot for many, including us, not only for its delectable dishes but also for its inviting ambiance and family-friendly features.

As we stepped into the Indian Spicy restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious interior is thoughtfully designed, with distinct sections catering to different groups.

There are cozy corners for couples seeking a bit of privacy, larger areas for family gatherings, and dedicated spaces for parties and celebrations.

One of the standout features for us is the small kid's zone tucked into a corner of the restaurant. This play area is a godsend for parents, providing a safe and engaging space for children to play while the adults can relax and enjoy their meals. Our son loves it, and it allows my husband and me to have some much-needed 'we' time together.

Now, let's talk about the food!

On this visit, we ordered Chicken Chola Botora and Thai soup, a combination that might seem unusual, but it perfectly satisfied our cravings.

The Chicken Chola Botora was simply fabulous. The dish featured fluffy, deep-fried batoras paired with a flavorful chicken chola curry. The rich and spicy curry was well-balanced and complemented by the light and airy batoras.

The accompanying chutneys, particularly the coconut chutney, were a delightful addition, adding a burst of flavor to each bite. This platter, priced at 380 taka ($3.8), was not only delicious but also a great value for the price.

Although the Chola Botora was the star of the evening, the Thai soup was equally impressive.

Priced at 270 taka ($2.7), this soup is undoubtedly one of the best in town.

The texture was just right—thick and hearty, with generous chunks of chicken and mushrooms that added a wonderful depth of flavor.

The soup was well-seasoned, striking the perfect balance between savory and slightly tangy. It was comforting and delicious, making it an excellent choice to satisfy my craving for soup.

The service at Indian Spicy was attentive and courteous. The staff made sure we were comfortable and promptly addressed any requests we had. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.

Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Indian Spicy is an excellent choice. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their delightful menu offerings.

Besides biryani and Indomie noodles, I also want to taste other Indian foods. But it shouldn't be spicy. I just hope it also has that here in the Philippines.

I like the aura of the place. The design is not that bad for the eyes. It seems that they really want to do their best to meet the needs of their customers. Like having a play ground for children, which I think is very convenient for those parents with children who like to eat in this place. It's rare here in our area that there is something like that in a restaurant or food place. Nice!

I love trying new Indian foods too, but the spicy ones! It's great to hear about the family-friendly atmosphere with a playground for kids. Such thoughtful touches make dining out so much more enjoyable for everyone. 😊
