Today, I’m gonna share with you a simple,affordable, and easy to cook dish. For mommies like me, it is very challenging for us to cook a budget friendly meals for our family. We all know, that nowadays the prices of goods are high even the gasoline’s price are freaking high. Okay back to the dish. This dish is called String Beans Adobo with Pork also known as Adobong Sitaw na may Baboy in my beloved country, Philippines. String beans adobo with pork is a Filipino dish where string beans, along with pork pieces are simmered in sauce consisting of oyster sauce, soy sauce and vinegar.
*Here are the Ingredients:
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 small red onion
3 cloves garlic
String beans or sitaw
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
Salt and ground black pepper
Procedure:
1.Slice pork, red onion,garlic,and string beans into pieces
- Preheat panand add the vegetable oil.
3.Saute red onion, garlic until transluscent - Add pork pieces then season with small amount of salt and pepper
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until pork pieces is cooked.
- Add string beans or sitaw then add pepper again
7.Cover for 5 minutes, then add oyster sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar.
8.Cover for 8 minutes or until the string beans is fully cooked and it’s done.
*This is one of my family’s favorite dishes.
