Recipe of The Day | A Family Celebration with Dory Fish Delight

in #hive-12058610 months ago

Earlier this January 2024, I tried a new recipe that I found while browsing on Hive. I'm not very skilled in cooking, but I wanted to see how the food would taste. I told myself I wouldn't know unless I gave it a try. I've decided to add cooking to my skills because I believe it's a way to bring my family together through food. I love the joy of my kids and wife when we eat together as a family for dinner.

We celebrated my son's birthday early since we couldn't celebrate on his actual birthday due to his school day and my work schedule. So, we decided to celebrate it on a Saturday. He isn't too picky; he's always grateful as long as we fulfill his wishes, which were sushi and cake. He doesn't like overly sweet food all the time, and he also doesn't enjoy hot drinks.

As my wife settled in to watch Netflix and my children immersed themselves in online games, I found myself in the kitchen, struggling with the hope that the new recipe I was trying wouldn't spoil the mood of celebrating my son's birthday. The aroma of sizzling butter and garlic filled the air, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.

Cooking the Dory fish with butter felt like a delicate dance, with each flip of the fillets representing my determination to make this birthday celebration special. I chose to cook a new recipe that I hadn't tried before, a simple recipe for Dory fish with butter. Here's the recipe:

  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Place the seasoned Dory fish fillets in the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Enjoy my delicious Dory fish with butter!
