I was craving after pizza. My last pizza was consumed months ago. I therefore took advantage of the opportunity to visit S&R New York-style Pizza at Ayala Mall, Harbor Point in Olongapo City.
In the Philippines, there is a chain of restaurants called S&R New York Style Pizza that serves American favorites like Southern-style fried chicken and New York-style pizza. In addition, their Deli Corner serves cakes, imported ice cream, and fine coffee.
In addition to more, they provide large, reasonably priced pizza slices. Though other items on the menu may even be more worthy of your attention than the pizza, their New York-style pizza is always their specialty. These are large, thick, greasy slices of pizza that could easily serve as the main course.
Together with fries and soft drinks, my friends and I ordered pizzas, combos and cheeses, and chicken parmesan.
With a variety of toppings on a soft round dough, the pizza's perfect blend of tomato sauce and spices makes it savoury, meaty, and not overly greasy. Bring the whole family and enjoy, as there are plenty of options on the menu board besides pizza.

It was a fully proofed combination pizza, freshly baked. It costs about $12.71, or 747 pesos. The cheese pizza has a golden brown, thick, crispy crust and a soft, bread-like interior. Melted and slightly roasted mozzarella cheese is layered over thick, rich pizza sauce.
A soft and moist interior complements the thick, crispy, golden-brown crust of the combo pizza. The addition of melted mozzarella cheese, pork pepperoni, Italian crumbles, black olives, roasted white onion bits, and green bell pepper slices results in a thick, flavorful, and highly flavorful pizza sauce.
Parmesan chicken wings with garlic
Crispy deep-fried chicken wings combined with parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and a hint of spice in the butter. Add some freshly chopped parsley as a garnish. It costs $4.97, or 229 pesos.
Naturally, Mountain Dew was the perfect soda to go with the food we ordered, and of course, their perfect fries make everything perfect.
These experiences definitely satiate my craving for pizza.
The greatest thing about giving in to your cravings is that you will eventually feel satisfied and be able to let them go. It's okay that this craving for pizza has persisted longer than my typical sporadic cravings—it's crucial to treat yourself to what you want to eat rather than deprive yourself!
