Cooking has been my stress reliever recently. It's nice to cook good food at home. But there's also the joy that is brought when you get to dine out and eat something that is prepared for you. Although this would mean that your meal would be a little expensive, it's nice to eat out from time to time. There are a lot of food choices to be explored. In addition, it can also be your way to help jumpstart the economy again, wherever you are.
Last weekend, me and my sister, went out to check out Genki Sushi. It's a restaurant that offers a variety of Japanese cuisine. It's not only about the food that I wanted to try in this place but also the experience it gives to its customers. Your food orders get delivered to your table using a toy train! On the side of the table, you can see all the variety of sushi, nigiri, temaki, gunkan, seared, rice and noodles, and side orders that they offer. The orders are placed using their interactive menu (via LCD screen). After a few minutes, a toy train will pass by and stop exactly at your table, and you're free to get the plates of the food you have ordered.
It was a fun experience. But, what I love the most is the quality of food they serve. Everything was just so delicious! The food is quite pricey compared to other food restaurants but it was totally worth it. Out of the food we have ordered, my favorites were the seared tuna with black pepper, hana sushi, and grill river eel.
Although drinks are also available in their menu, you can opt to make your own hot matcha drink. In the table, there's a water faucet where you can get hot water, there's a matcha powder on the side that you can use to make tea. The good in Genki Sushi surely brought me joy and comfort. This is what great food tastes like. They're about making the people enjoy their experience in dining in and having their stomach filled with delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine. I knew, I'd surely go back.
