Passend zum Samstagabend möchte ich heute etwas zur Unterhaltung beitragen. Lange war es still um ihn, doch letzte Woche bin ich zufällig auf einen Instagram Beitrag eines gewissen Blumio's gestolpert. Ältere Semester dürften ihn noch kennen. An die Cloudrap-Generation: Gönnt euch!
Blumio ist vor 20 Jahren mit seinen Rap Imitationen bekannt geworden. Und wenn er doch jeden Rapper imitieren kann, stellt sich doch die Frage, ob er der beste Rapper ist, oder?
Die ersten beiden Songs einer kommenden EP gehen gut ins Ohr.
Tipp für die Profis: Schließt die Augen und erkennt, welchen Rapper er imitiert. Es passt einfach alles. Von den Texten über den sprachlichen Stil bis hin zu den Sound Atmosphären passt einfach alles.

In keeping with Saturday evening, I would like to contribute something to the entertainment today. It was quiet around him for a long time, but last week I happened to stumble upon an Instagram post by a certain Blumio. Older students might still know him. To the Cloudrap generation: treat yourselves!
Blumio became famous 20 years ago with his rap imitations. And if he can imitate any rapper, the question is whether he is the best rapper, right?

Tip for the pros: Close your eyes and recognise which rapper he's imitating. Everything just fits. From the lyrics to the linguistic style to the sound atmospheres, everything just fits.
For all non-rap lovers: you have to acknowledge this talent!
How blatant Blumio's imitations are can only really be judged well if you know the imitated artists.
