Interesting question about charging time. I've never actually timed mine. Mine is supposedly capable of over 60 miles per charge, but I've never ridden it more than an hour or so at a time. With my normal routine of pedaling, I've only had it down to 80% of charge even after several rides.

For me, I bought at a time when they were offering a free extra battery at the time of purchase. I had visions of going on these extreme long trail rides and carrying the extra battery to swap out during the ride. So far not even close to that need, lol.

I think that's something for folks to consider for sure when purchasing. This model has an easy quick battery swap feature. You simply unlock the battery with key, then it just pops out, you just pop the new one in (no tools or screws required) and you're good to go. I think if using for regular daily commute, I would just swap batteries each day and let the other charge overnight, but I guess depends on use case.

I did a larger overview of this model here a few months ago:

Still love it, but not doing regular commute yet, just the occasional exercise ride around the neighborhood. Still dreaming of those long trail rides, but not there yet.

cool bike, having an extra battery is really handy, so you can always have a charged battery in case when needed and charge the other battery overnight :)

The battery feature is very nice, but the bike large for transport. I'm looking at getting a trailer hitch and bike rack carrier to take it to the trails.

It looks like yours is maybe a folding model? Or at least it looks smaller and lighter to fit in the back of my SUV without the rack carrier? I wasn't sure I would be taking mine anywhere before, but now find myself wanting to take it other places to ride on the trails, beach, etc.
