Hi,
I see that my friend (almost wrote gay), @trumpman is posting under the #cine tag.
Today, we got on announcement on the new Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, by Obi-Wan himself. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe not, but today is the birthday of Ewan McGregor, who turns 51.
Ewan McGregor played already Obi-Wan Kenobi in 1999, 2002 and 2005 in the Star Wars Episodes I, II and III.
The action of this series, will take place between Episode III and IV.
We will see Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader again, where on the Episodes II and III he was received with mixed feelings on his play.
On the personal note, Episodes IV, V and VI are the best ones. Nevertheless, I enjoyed also some of the spin-offs, like Rogue One which was special.
I've heard that The Mandalorian is good, but I did not get the chance to see it.
Disney is trying to grow the franchise, after the film flops, where I think they are on an ascending trend.
I hope that this series will be good. I really do, as I like Ewan, and I hope the series will not turn into some brainwashing political correctness film. Let it be just a space fantasy with jokes kind of 80's style movie.
Will you watch it?
