Mission impossible the movie was released in 1996.
In the main Character Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise), CIA Analyst William Donloe(Rolf Saxon), Jim Phelps(Jon Voight), Agent Eugene Kittridge(Henry Czerny), Max(Vanessa Redgrave), Luther Stickell(Ving Rhames), Franz Krieger(Jean Reno), Alexander Golitsyn(Marcel Lures).
In this movie, there is a secret spy organization IMF team but in this CIA Alexander is one of the enemies. So Alexander plans to steal a secret disk, in this file contains a lot of special and important information. The importance of the country belongs to the person who will steal this file.
The CIA can find out about this theft plan which is why Jim is responsible for handling this case. The head of the team at Jim was Ethan Hunt. Ethan plans for Alexander to steal this file and arrest anyone who sells it.

CIA had a rule that the CIA would not take responsibility if someone was caught on a mission. Those on the Ethan Hunt team killed one by one after this mission began, Hunt realizes that someone is following him. When Ethan arrives to see Alexander, he has no disk.

Here Jim's real identity is found Jin was cheating the CIA along with the enemies, Ethan Hunt Max arrested them and acquitted them of all charges. Ethan gets his job back & this movie ENDs here.
