Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today I thought we'd do another You Should Laugh More post. I haven't done one of these in awhile, but after the US election results the other day, I think some of us might need it. No theme for this one, let's just jump in in a completely random way and have some fun.
But before we get started:
Research has shown that laughter is good for us. It has all kinds of health benefits. Despite most of us knowing this, none of us laugh enough. Yeah, I know, being an adult is tough, and furthermore there is a lot of grim stuff happening in the world. These things may be true, but that just is all the more reason for trying to get a little laughter into our lives.
Did you ever wonder what it'd be like if bad guys in movies engaged in free talk?
Yeah... maybe there is a reason they don't do that.
Speaking of ackward talk, when he briefly hosted Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, Jonathan Frakes always had these weird chats with the audience. Here is a video that plays with that and makes them even weirder.
And now, Dr Evil
Do you remember when Homer visited the Duff Brewery?
You know, Norm Macdonald was just about one of the funniest comics in recent history. And his apearances on all of late night were the best. Of them all, this may be his best appearance. He was really channeling Rodney Dangerfield a few times there. You dirty dog!
Speaking of classic comics, how about some word association?
And now, for your moment of Zen
So what do you think? Did it make you laugh or was it just stupid? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
