Too err is Human
In this busy life of busy world we make many mistakes. It can be a trivial or life changing mistake. Some learn from those mistakes, some avoid them. There is another type of people who do not consider their mistakes as mistakes. But have you ever thought how one of your mistakes can be a blessing for some and a curse for others!? But do you think this is a problem at all? Because your very existence is about to disappear in this tension of blessings and curses. This is exactly what happens to us. Concerned with our own existence or image, we do not ignore the suffering of others due to our mistakes. There was only one thing in everyone's mind.
"Self preservation is the first law of nature"
But not everyone floats in the stream. Some go against the grain by prioritizing the suffering of others before their own. They never shirk from their sense of responsibility.
They believe-
If I have messed up one's life, I have to take steps to make it arranged again and there is no turning back.
One such, our “protagonist Ivan Loke”, is unwilling to let others suffer for his own mistakes. Abandoning the titles of a successful contractor and a family man, he rushes to give his mistake a name. Only he is in favor of him, the whole world is against him. His motto is-
No matter what the situation is, I can make it better again.
Yes he can make it better but can he make it like before? What is his life in the game of correcting this mistake and making it better? Does he have a relationship with his people?
If we talk about acting, it is a one man show. And the man has nailed it. This is undoubtedly one of Tom Hardy's best performances. Let me tell you that in this movie Loke's son Eddie is voiced by Tom Holland of Spider-Man.
Successful constructor Evan Locke's quiet life is thrown into turmoil by a phone call. Leaving behind his partner of fifteen years, his two sons watching favorite club games and the responsibility of building England's tallest building, Locke fled Birmingham for London to live a fulfilling life.
The movie is called a one man show. There are no other characters in the entire movie except Tom Hardy as Locke, just some phone calls. In such movies, the acting can be thoroughly enjoyed. Every dialogue, expression can be observed. From this point of view, the movie is great, Tom Hardy portrays the character of Locke naturally; Anger, annoyance, helplessness, decision-making, understanding with the mind are revealed in every dialogue, every expression. And the movie's message that every human makes mistakes and should try to correct them so dramatically deserves praise. Thrill was also enough, it became clear at the last moment how Locke will handle everything. The movie also has a message of learning from the past, making the society more beautiful. Overall great.
Overall this film is deep and full of psychological suspense. Tom Hardy's act was just way more than brilliant and the whole atmosphere was just so actual. Hope you will like it.
