Wakanda Forever

I was in shock when we lost the great Chadwick Boseman in 2020 He had brought to life one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, T'Challa, the king of Wakanda.

The character and the film, Black Panther, became a cultural phenomenon, breaking box office records and changing the game for representation or what some are calling "wokeness" in Hollywood but it was a historic moment. And now, even in the wake of Boseman's untimely passing, the legacy of Black Panther lives on with the iconic phrase, "Wakanda Forever."

Setting a Cultural Standard

Wakanda Forever represents more than just a superhero movie in the MCU. It has become a symbol of pride, strength, and unity for the Black community around the world.

The film showcased an African nation that was technologically advanced, rich in culture, and fiercely independent. It was a refreshing change from the usual portrayal of Africa in Western media as a poverty-stricken, war-torn continent.

A large portion of Africa's problems today have only recently been caused through colonisation and world wars as other nations battled for dominance over Africa.

Black Panther showed something different to the world that Africa is a continent full of beauty, creativity, and resilience.

Main Character Lead Change

Although the original Black Panther passed, fans were interested to see how the transition underwent as these moment tend to be quite crucial in retaining fans. The wrong switch can be devastating for a film but Wakanda Forever provided a near flawless transition.

They further redefined the meaning of the herbs and their use which provides further details about Black Panthers powers and we got to see even more of Wakanda than ever before.

more advanced peoples

We now know that there are more advances peoples on the planet although we are not quite sure why the remained hidden for so long despite coming to light to prevent people from finding Vibranium.

Overall I was really blown away by this film and I think it is setting the bench really high for MCU films and fans which will be hard to come back from for other films.

This year is lining up to already be a good year in films with many more underway and development now that COVID is all but gone so we're looking forward to see what comes next!

Happt Cining peeps!

It was wonderful to love their culture and rules and protect them from all enemies. A story of the wonderful Wakandian nation can also be told with him. Where the black community can be known and understood as rich and powerful in all aspects, just like any other community. The Black community has shown their prosperity, ability and strength in a wonderful response to the arrogance and power of the white people in the world.

We humans are educated only on paper, mental education is very lacking. It is the biggest identity for all people whether they are white or black. Yet we knowingly do not obey, resulting in so much disparity and discord in the world.

Your wonderful review makes me want to watch the second part of the Black Panther series.
