Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
We are a few days away from the weekend, and if you are looking for a relaxing movie to watch, then do grab some popcorn because Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson will make you laugh in this movie.
Summary of the movie
Central Intelligence is an action comedy movie that was released in 2016.
The movie started with Robbie Weirdicht (Dwayne Johnson), a nerd who was taking a shower while dancing happily to a song in the boys locker room in the school when a group of bullies came and dragged him out naked to the gymnasium in the middle of an ongoing assembly.
The whole crowd started laughing at him while Calvin Joyner, the most popular and likeable guy in the school, also known as Golden Jet (Kevin Hart), removed his jacket and gave it to him to cover himself up.
Fast forward to twenty years later, Calvin Joyner is working as an accountant who isn't happy with his career and feels his life is boring. While his wife, on the other hand, is making plans for them to attend their high school reunion, Joyner refused, saying he would not attend because everyone would keep asking him how he is doing, which apparently he isn't doing fine. What he is doing at the moment, because some of them would have thought he would be the governor or some very now because of how active and popular he was in high school.
The following day Calvin got a Facebook friend request from a mysterious person named Bob Stone. He accepted, and the person sent him an invite to meet him at a bar. Calvin Joyner met with him. Bob Stone reveals himself to be Robbie Weirdicht, the naked guy who was embarrassed; Calvin was surprised to see how he has transformed into a muscular, fine, and confident man who is also good with combat skills.
Calvin later got to find out that Bob Stone isn't who he thought he was.
My thoughts and rating
The actors brought in their A game, mostly Kevin Hart, who brought in his comic relief, and Dwayne Johnson, who brought in his signature action hero charm and charisma.
The movie got me thinking about my high school; there were some girls (I went to an all-girls school) who were not among the social birds then. They were hardly noticeable. A few years after graduation, when I saw some of their pictures on social media, I couldn't believe my eyes. While I heard from some of our classmates about some of these people we called nerds and how they are all doing well and great, I can't help but say that people should not be despised because someone might not look great today; doesn't mean they will remain that way forever.
There's a treasure in everyone, every human should be treated well.
I would definitely recommend this movie, and I also rate the movie 4/5 because of how good the movie is.
