Β Saludos a todos los amantes del cine de la Comunidad de @cinetv. Hoy es el Ombligo de la Semana y es un buen dΓa para hablar sobre una pelΓcula que tenΓa muchas ganas de ver este aΓ±o. De hecho hice una lista de las pelΓculas mΓ‘s esperadas y que quiero ver el 2024, (puedes ver ese post AQUI). AsΓ que les hablarΓ© un poco de la nueva versiΓ³n de: The Crow (2024) y una pequeΓ±a comparaciΓ³n con la versiΓ³n anterior.

Β Este film es una versiΓ³n totalmente diferente a la que saliΓ³ allΓ‘ en el 94. Para muchos, esta versiΓ³n protagonizada por Bill SkarsgΓ₯rd (de quien soy muy fan), resultΓ³ ser bastante mala y decepcionante, pero para mΓ, simplemente fue diferente y me gustΓ³ mucho al igual que la primera versiΓ³n.
Β Es decir, vamos, ΒΏCΓ³mo vas a comparar Peras con Manzanas? ΒΏo Chicha con Limonada? Son temas diferentes para gustos diferentes, asΓ de sencillo. La versiΓ³n 2024 del Cuervo estΓ‘ basada en el cΓ³mic (cuya historia no he leΓdo nunca), pero imagino que estΓ‘ mΓ‘s relacionada a este por cΓ³mo lo presentaron, es decir, fueron mΓ‘s fieles a la historia plasmada allΓ.

Β La actuaciΓ³n que brindΓ³ SkarsgΓ₯rd me pareciΓ³ muy buena, digna de Γ©l, sabΓa que no me decepcionarΓa. Claro que son pocas las veces que lo he visto actuando enamorado o de manera romΓ‘ntica, imagino que fue todo un reto para Γ©l.
Β Otro aspecto a resaltar es que la historia en esta versiΓ³n se desarrollΓ³ como que muy rΓ‘pido. Y mΓ‘s que darle superpoderes a este personaje, fue una total maldiciΓ³n en realidad, ya que condenΓ³ su alma por salvar a su amada. Esta es una de las grandes diferencias entre esta versiΓ³n y la del 94.

Β La historia del romance se mantuvo prΓ‘cticamente igual, muy apasionada y cargada de amor, sΓ³lo que en esta versiΓ³n le dieron peso a la chica y a cΓ³mo se dio el romance en sΓ. En cuanto al aspecto que le dieron a SkarsgΓ₯rd como El Cuervo, me gustΓ³ pero me hubiera encantado quitΓ‘ndole unos cuantos tatuajes.
Β Imagino que esto fue asΓ para darle ese toque de chico rebelde o chico malo. Pero la verdad es que para mi gusto se les fue un poquito bastante la mano con tantos tatuajes π€£. Del resto todo fue espectacular, las peleas, las escenas de acciΓ³n y los efectos especiales al curarse, todo genial fue genial.

Β AdemΓ‘s, la historia de los villanos, en este caso le dieron un giro mΓ‘s diabΓ³lico y sobrenatural. Este aspecto me gustΓ³, porque le agregΓ³ un plus a la historia que no me esperaba. Los finales por supuesto son diferentes y es que todo en general es diferente. Como dije al inicio del post, son pelΓculas totalmente distintas, historias totalmente diferentes que coinciden en muy pocos aspectos.
Β La verdad es que tenΓa muchas dudas de ver esta nueva versiΓ³n ya que su puntaje es bastante bajo. Pero le quise dar una oportunidad para ver una actuaciΓ³n totalmente distinta de Bill. Y valiΓ³ totalmente la pena. La versiΓ³n del 94, por supuesto que me la vi enseguida luego de finalizar la del 2024 y quedΓ© sumamente satisfecha y feliz al ver el increΓble trabajo de ambos protagonistas π y saber que fue diferente uno del otro.

Β Ya para finalizar sΓ³lo debo agregar que esta versiΓ³n es totalmente Gore, hay mucha sangre y muchos desmembramientos. Si te gusta este gΓ©nero, entonces tal vez te agrade esta versiΓ³n. Para mΓ fue un aspecto inesperado y me gustΓ³.
Β La versiΓ³n del 94, en mi opiniΓ³n es un clΓ‘sico. Y Bill en ningΓΊn momento buscΓ³ opacar ni reemplazar el trabajo que hizo Brandon Lee en aquel entonces. Esta pelΓcula tiene una historia bonita con toques gΓ³ticos. Y ambas vale la pena disfrutarlas por separado porque son diferentes. En cuanto a la puntuaciΓ³n que le doy a cada una serΓa:

Β Greetings to all the movie lovers in the @cinetv Community. Today is the Navel of the Week and it's a good day to talk about a movie I was looking forward to seeing this year. I made a list of the most anticipated films that I want to see in 2024, (you can check out that post HERE). So I'll tell you a little bit about the new version of: The Crow (2024) and a small comparison with the previous version.

Β This film is a different version than the one that came out in '94. For many, this version starring Bill SkarsgΓ₯rd (of whom I am a big fan) turned out to be pretty bad and disappointing, but for me, it was just different, and I liked it a lot, just like the first version.
Β I mean, come on, how are you going to compare Pears with Apples? or Milk with Lemonade? They're different subjects for different tastes, plain and simple. The 2024 version of The Crow is based on the comic (whose story I've never read), but I imagine it's more related to it because of how they presented it, i.e. they were more faithful to the story captured there.

Β I thought the performance SkarsgΓ₯rd gave was very good, worthy of him, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Of course, I've rarely seen him acting in love or in a romantic way, so I guess it was a challenge for him.
Β Another aspect to highlight is that the story in this version developed kind of fast. And rather than giving this character superpowers, it was a total curse in reality, since he damned his soul to save his beloved. This is one of the big differences between this version and the 94 version.

Β The romance story stayed pretty much the same, very passionate and love-laden, only in this version they gave weight to the girl and how the romance itself came about. As for the look they gave SkarsgΓ₯rd as The Crow, I liked it but would have loved to have removed a few tattoos.
Β I imagine this was done to give him that rebellious or bad-boy touch. But the truth is that for my taste they went a little too far with so many tattoos π€£. The rest was spectacular, the fights, the action scenes, and the special effects when healing, everything was great.

Β Also, the story of the villains, in this case, gave it a more diabolical and supernatural twist. I liked this aspect because it added a plus to the story that I did not expect. The endings of course are different and everything in general is different. As I said at the beginning of the post, they are different movies, totally different stories that coincide in very few aspects.
Β The truth is that I was very hesitant to watch this remake since its score is quite low. But I wanted to give it a chance to see a different performance from Bill. And it was worth it. The '94 version, of course, I watched it right away after finishing the 2024 one and I was extremely satisfied and happy to see the amazing work of both leads π and to know that it was different from each other.

Β Finally, I just have to add that this version is totally Gore, there is a lot of blood and dismemberment. If you like this genre, then you might like this version. For me, it was an unexpected aspect and I liked it.
Β The '94 version, in my opinion, is a classic. And Bill at no time sought to overshadow or replace the work that Brandon Lee did back then. This movie has a beautiful story with gothic touches. And both are worth enjoying separately because they are different. As for the score I give each would be:
