Good everyone and my fellow movie lover, i am really happy to be able to participate and most of all share my best mystery movie of all time. when i hear the word mystery in movies, i want to see drama, plot twist, unpredictable moves and decision by the character and the best of it all solving crimes, especially a murder case that comes with a lot twist.
in all my years of watching movie, the one movie that fits into that and also have an amazing plot twist that left me in awe is Knives Out. the movie is about the death of a popular old mystery book writer Harlan Thrombey who was found dead the next morning after his birthday party in which all his children and granchild were there to celebrate with him and they were all present in the house when the mjurder took place, the interesting thing is that, every single Thrombey child had a good motive to kill him, from the first male child looking to inherit the father publishing company, or the other children looking to keep the father money or the wife of the late Thrombey child looking to keep getting regular excessive suppot money. they were all threatened when Thrombey told each one of them that he his trying to clear the house and wont be funding their laziness anymore. the next event sees the police and a top private criminal investigator who was unanimously paid and employed by someone who knows about the killing before anyone else. so the question on the table is , who killed Harlan Thrombey, who hired the privagte investigator, why did someone kill Harlan Thrombey, why did someone hire the private detective?
i wouldnt want to give too much of spoilers, but trust me, the answers to the questions above were gotten, and the interesting part and why i personally like this movies is that you will be wowed, and in awe because you will not be able to guess the answer even if you try a million times.
There is a particular scene that always crack me up anytine i remember, this is when the killer has been unraveled and then the killer trieed to attack the person that help solve the case with the detective with a knife, only to find out that the knfe was just one of Mr. Thrombey prop knife, this particular scene actually have an irony to it, because it showed Mr. Thrombey has been right about how he viewed this particular individual when he was alive.
i really like how the movie portrayed the character of Daniel Craig who acted as the detective and how they were able to incorporate his bold, alpha male vibes from his character as james bond into this detective character, i liked how he chooses his words and carries himself in the movie.
