The soundtrack that made the film in the timeless classic color, and it roamed around the world because of its magnificence, and was nominated for an Oscar in the first part, but he did not get it because there is a track in the film's music that was used in another movie made by the same composer produced in 1958 entitled Fortunella, However, the music won the Oscar in the second part of the film, after the similarity was excluded.
The Godfather movie is the only movie in which the same main character for the work in two different ages and in two parts of it gets Oscars. The second part, Robert De Niro, also received an Oscar.

Italian composer, pianist and conductor. He is best known for the tunes of his films, which exceeded one hundred and fifty tunes, in which he composed for films by great directors such as (Luciano Visconti), (Frederico Fellini) and (Francis Fordcoppola). The second of them won the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
He was born into a musical family in Milan, Italy, and his genius appeared early in his childhood, so he wrote his first verbal musical piece at the age of eleven! He performed in front of an audience for the first time in 1923 at the age of twelve, in a three-act comedy.
