Cine Tv Contest - The Miracle Season (2018) || Review

in #hive-1217447 days ago

I love movies that are based on true live stories. There is something about movies this kinds of movies that makes me want to watch them immediately I find them. I love these movies because it gives us the opportunity to see and also know what had happened.

They are some feelings that I get when I later realize that the event happened when I have been in existence. The thrill I get, the excitement are beyond words and it is the same for this movie:

THE MIRACLE SEASON (2018)

This movie is a true story of the IOWA CITY WEST HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TEAM and their Captain Caroline "Line" Found who died in 2011.

Line( played by Danika Yanish) snuck out of a party at her house to go visit her sick mother who was diagnosed with cancer. Line unfortunately died in a moped accident.

Her death was a huge loss not only for her team (The Trojans) but also for her community because she was kind to everyone and was loved by all.

Her mother Ellyn Found(Played by Jillian Fargey) insisted on walking to her daughter's casket to pay her respect and she also died a few days later. Their deaths was a huge loss to Caroline's Father Dr Ernie Found ( Played by William Hurt) as he struggles with losing his wife and daughter.

One of the person whom Line's death was harder for her was her coach, Kathy "Brez" Bresnahan ( played by Helen Hunt). Though she struggles with processing it for a long time but she encourages the rest of the team to continue playing as that was what LINE would have wanted.

Coach Brez appointed Line's best friend Kelley Fliehler( played by Erin Moriarty) as the new captain of the team even though some of the girls didn't accept her at first.

The team struggles with competing without Line and lost badly against their rival City High. The also lost other games as well. The Coach didn't allow the spirit of the game they so much loved die in them as she encourages them to practice more.

"If we can win at least one game, shouldn't we at least try?", Kelley told the rest of her team and they all decided to work hard to win the State Championship for their Line.

They started practicing more and working harder and they won all the games needed to put them back on to qualify for the State Championship.

As the team prepared for their biggest game against their rival,City High, Caroline's father figured the best way to honor her memory was not to "Do It For Line" Or "Play For Line" But To "Live Like Line".

With renewed inspiration, the Trojans played and won the 2011 IOWA State championship Volleyball Game. It was a moment of Joy for everyone of them and Line's picture was raised by her friend Kelley amidst the celebration.

I really wished I had been at there as I would have loved to be part of the crowd who cheer them on, sing with them, give them all a very big hug and celebrate with them.

The movie is so inspiring for me and one of the lesson I learned from this movie is to not take any day for granted and to live everyday like it's our last.
