Frozen 2 for Cine TV Contest

Christmas holiday movies come in different genres, types and lengths.
Of course the rather staple theme is the holiday family romance which leaves you warm inside and makes your heart ready to be searching for love in the new year, there is also the equally popular holiday comedy which leaves you laughing out loud with your family at the gags, incidents and scenarios that's been showed.

Unfortunately though I didn't watch either the romance or comedy....
I let my childish adventurous side pick the Christmas movie today and that's how in the 2024 Christmas season, I found myself snuggled into my bed, and playing on my laptop was the opening tune of Frozen 2.

Frozen 2

Plot

3 years after the incident of Elsa losing control of her powers, she has managed to regain the trust in her people who have appointed her as the Queen of Arendelle.
Now in tune with her Queenly duties, she notices a strange voice calling her into the enchanted forest. Would Elsa be able to trust herself with the secret this voice is about to tell her?
Would she be able to save her kingdom from the wrath of the troubled spirits?

As shocking as it may sound I was a Major fan of the first frozen movie. It's impossible to deny the choreography brilliance and the mastery shown in the song choice.
Frozen 1 was iconic, it's popularity earned Elsa and Anna a place with Disney's greatest of Simba, Cinderella, etc.

This brilliance indeed urged the producers to make a 2nd installment and it was quite entertaining.
Not as iconic as the first though.

Yet since this is Christmas season, I'm not an overreaching critic today.
The idea was good. Frozen 1 was made in a way that it left a lot of loose ends thus leaving materials for follow up shows.
The loose ends used here was Elsa's powers and Anna and Elsa's parents.

In such an intricate way, they managed to forge an interesting, intriguing tale which told us more about the powers, hinted at its source and showed just what it could do.

I personally found it preposterous that she was fighting waves but meh it's magic ✨

The cinematography as always was nicez and the animation was wonderful. Nothing beats Disney Magic.

This was a fun adventurous show. It's not deeply rooted in Christmas but it's no doubt that Frozen is a winter show and is best enjoyed in this chilly holiday season.

So while some of y'all were swooning over romantic energy or laughing at comedic gimmicks, I was watching in awe, laughing a bit and singing to adventurous, spirit finding, ocean battling scenes of Frozen 2 ❄️
