The movie tells the story of Barnabas Collins a vampire who lived hundreds of years ago and was buried in a coffin for a long time and when he came out of his coffin in the modern era the world around him changed dramatically However it is not just the return of a vampire but what distinguishes the movie is the sarcastic and strange character that links darkness and comedy at the same time It is an unconventional movie meaning that you will not find the usual dark atmosphere in horror movies but there is a kind of black humor that is Tim Burtons distinctive way.
