the original Taken which now stands as the first in the franchise was released in 27 February 2008 in France, Directed by Pierre Morel and Distributed by 20th century studios, starring major cast Liam neeson as Brian mills and others like , Maggie Grace as Kim, Famke Janssen as Lenore and Leland Orser as sam, is evidently seen to be the most prominent box office project of Liam neeson, with succesful reviews across a wide range of audience , Taken 1 now 17 years follows the life Brian mills a retired CIA operative with a broken home where he shares custody of his daughter hes shares with wife Lenore. they are each seperately living their lives in which Kim is now married to a wealthy business man and leading the dream life, Brian is seen hanging with friends occasionally whom provide a sense of relieve to him as dosen't have a family.
The fast thriller began after Brian mills daughter is kidnapped Kim, is on a trip to france with friends when there is a conspiracy to kidnap the girls after being followed to the apartment from which they plan to explore Paris, the girls fall victim of a women trafficking business which has been being run for the longest time by foreigners in France , they transport and sell young girls high bidding wealthy men from various continent as he takes drastic actions to ensure that gets his daughter back, a sequel of heart racing scene captures the famous Liam Neeson's liking to Tenacity and relentlessness in his movies, he uses his special intelligence skills captivating audience with the diplomacy to getting his daughter back.
The film just goes to show the love of a father for his only daughter,
the directing and cinematography really did a good job at telling this story in a way that seems rather relatable, i loved everything about the movie as i personally experienced some strong emotions while watching.
Liam Neeson haven become a household name in theatre for his early work and of this day is commendable for this role in this movies, his movies are indeed captivating, and i cant say if it majorly about the kind of roles he take on o his through personality outside of the roles. i would always be up to see his future work and i hope this motivates you to see the movie if you haven't already.
