So last night after a lot of work, I decided to see a movie which I thought would help relieve me of stress but ended up watching this piece of shit. I was wondering how I sat down for like an hour plus to watch this sucking film. I don't know if the filmmaker didn't sit back to check if the movie was good enough to be released to the public before doing so.

Let me give you a little hint on what this film is all about you need to grab some popcorn and get ready for boredom;

Synopsis:

A robber breaks into a wealthy CEO's vacation home to take some money but is met by the CEO and his wife before he could escape. He orders them around and the CEO agrees to give him some money and forget about the ordeal without having to involve the police. When he got the money, he locked them up in a sauna so he could easily leave without them trying to harm him. Returning to his car, he spots a security camera hidden in a tree which obviously had recorded him. He returns to the house and confronts the couple about lying to him. He also asks for more money, $500,000 to be precise, maybe for the damages. The CEO calls his assistant who tells him that the money will be available the following day.

Several conversations led to the the other and the robber figures that the CEO's and his wife are in fucked up relationship although the CEO was looking forward to having a baby with her. The next day, the gardener arrives to work on the house and thought of talking to his boss about planting an oak tree in the compound. He takes the trio outside and shows the CEO his sketch of what the garden should look like, the CEO takes the opportunity and writes a message on the sketch asking the gardener to call the cops. The robber notices the gardener's movement and orders him inside the house.

After a few hours, the CEO begins to throw tantrums belittling the robber and as a warning, the robber shoots a warning shot. The gardener gets scared and tries to escape but trips and falls through the glass door piercing his neck on a sharp glass and dies shortly.

Later that night, the money is left in front of the house and the CEO's wife is asked to get it. She gets the money and returns inside the house. The robber ties them both in different rooms and makes to leave after disclosing to the CEO that his wife is on birth control pills. The CEO's wife cuts herself free using a piece of broken glass and kills the robber with a statue after which she shoots her husband dead, leaves the gun in the robber's hand and walks out of the property.

My personal opinion(critics obviously):

My narrative is quite interesting compared to when you actually hit the fucking play button on Netflix. This movie begins where the robber is seen wandering around the CEO's property like a sheep that has lost its shepherd kicking God knows what. The next thing he does is walk into the house and look for things as if he left them there. A movie of about an hour thirty eight minutes revolved around people who just went about shit talking and acting like depressed children. Even kids would be so bored watching full grown adults act like puppets. I was surprised to see it's an American fucking crime thriller. The title doesn't even even fit it. I was waiting to see if the ending would at least have meaning but it didn't, I only wasted my time and data.

There's nothing thrilling in the movie as everything looks like child's play.

For further information about this film; it was released in March 18, 2022, directed by Charlie McDowell, I don't know who the fuck that is. It stars Jason Segel, Lily Collins and Jesse plemons. Language is English. Country is the United States.

!1UP

It can be really sad and devastating 😩. At least I could write the review to save some people the stress of going to see it. Lol

but ended up watching this piece of shit.

Hahaha... That line was so hilarious. Oh, my world!

These filmmakers need to up their game. We are in 2022 for crying out loud. No one has time to spend watching some boring sheit.

Instead of them to tag along with the age and produce good films they seem to be moving backwards.

Sometimes we go to complete a film even though we know it is bad and boring, because the film is mysterious and intriguing.

This film wasn't intriguing at all. I only watched to the end because I thought there'd be a plot twist somewhere but nope I was totally disappointed.
