I had no idea political debates could get this heated. Today, I was invited for coffee at a local restaurant by a friend who lives a few kilometers away from my town. When I arrived, he was already there with his girlfriend, another friend, and that friend’s wife.

By the time I joined, they were already deep into a political discussion. In my country, if no candidate gets over 50% of the votes, there’s a second-round election between the top two candidates. The frontrunner from the first round was a complete shock to everyone.

This guy built his entire campaign around TikTok and social media, and honestly, his rise caught the masses—and the establishment—off guard. Now the powers that be are scrambling to ruin his image. And that’s when the conversation at our table got “aggressive.” Half of us supported the guy, and the other half were completely against him.

I chose to stay neutral because, frankly, I don’t believe in elections. But hearing that one of the other candidates publicly stated she plans to legalize gay marriage and blindly follow whatever the EU or NATO dictates is unsettling. I kind of suspected it, but having it out there officially? Yeah, it’s scary.

What’s even scarier is how easily young people are manipulated these days. It’s mind-blowing. And painful.

You know what else is painful? Ukraine’s Zelensky now says he’s willing to concede territory to Russia to end the war. Hundreds of thousands of people have died for absolutely nothing. This is what’s left after two years of war.

This guy danced to the tune of the deep American state for two years, dragging his country through hell, only to end it in a way that was already on the table two years ago. And somehow, Putin’s still the ultimate villain?

Don’t get me wrong—I’m not pro-Putin or pro-war. I know exactly how this stuff works at a deeper level. There will always be wars because the military-industrial complex needs to thrive. The bloodthirsty elites always need violence and chaos to keep us under control.

These are challenging times, and honestly, the world feels more divided than ever. I can only imagine how much worse AI will make things in the future, especially when it starts shaping every narrative.

Anyway, despite all this madness, I had a pretty good day. Wishing the same for you all.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

There will always be war because you do not want to change things enough.
