All the things had been posted - some of them years before - on AboveTopSecret dot com, where I was a silver contributor at the time (not knowing then that it was a CIA-run site).

I would place very high probability He was never in a prison. And They trotted Him out periodically to ensure the audience did not forget who He was. Maybe had Him pose on a set that appeared to be a prison, or went to a prison for the setup. All wag the dog.
Possible, even a reporter wondered how good Assange looked stepping onto that private jet after how many years in prison with only 1 hour of daylight..?

Um... I'm not quite sure what You're asking for there. I'm just saying that what was "leaked" and what I heard People talking about, I already knew about - whether a court was involved or not. Whether true or not. I had encountered the "leaked" stuff long before the leak.

Assange was tortured because he leaked the documents provided by Bradley Manning – documents that reveal criminal nature of the US government and its military industrial complex, and those documents can be used in Court as EVIDENCE.
