Bolivia: social pressure persists due to lack of dollars and fuels

Last Monday was a busy day there for the protests of multiple sectors moved by more than one cause. In the city of Santa Cruz, a stronghold of opponents to the ruling political force, hundreds of people marched to continue demanding the reactivation of the dollar and fuel markets. The demonstrators blame the government of Luis Arce for the situation, which is deeply affecting productive capacity. The country is in a vicious circle because it subsidizes the retail sale of fuel, something that President Arce proposes to review: for example, it ends up selling each liter of gasoline 33 cents below the cost for importing it from neighboring countries, which according to the authorities of the Great House of the People encourages smuggling. In general, more than 1 billion dollars are budgeted annually to acquire fuels, while gas and other commodities exports have fallen due to the application of bad policies, according to experts.

Colombia: a social nightmare right now, fuel-based as well

In addition to the relentless scourge of the internal armed conflict, drug trafficking and organized crime in general, this week the coffee-growing country has added the protests of the powerful truckers union, who are on strike over the recent rise in fuel prices. Petro said that if the subsidies—valued at close to $3 billion every year—were maintained, the country's debt would increase, and the poor would be affected. Already on Monday, five major highways were partially blocked.

On Tuesday, with tractor-trailers and dump trucks the strikers blocked one of Bogota's main highways, leaving hundreds of people without public transportation service, public school students without classes, and causing a traffic jam of dozens of private vehicles. Garbage collection was also affected, while in other departments such as Santander, Antioquia and Boyacá thousands of people also caused blockades. As 90% of the goods are moved by road, the measure of the transporters has had a negative effect on the critical food supply. This Thursday the police received the green light to use force and free some roads in the capital, while the state oil company has suspended the production of oil and liquefied gas due to blockades in certain fields.

Ecuador

The director of the “Sucumbíos No. 1” prison was shot dead in an ambush in which two other prison officers were wounded, it was reported this week. In the violent city of Guayaquil two female prison agents were killed on Sunday while on their way to the women's penitentiary where they worked in the southwest zone. And security forces thwarted an attack with a drone loaded with explosives against the maximum-security prison known as “La Roca”, also integrated to the penitentiary complex of Guayaquil, where high-profile subjects such as the former vice president Jorge Glas are being held. Adolfo Macías, alias Fito, a powerful criminal leader who ended up fleeing from another of the complex's prisons at some point between late 2023 and early 2024, was held there for a time. His prison break sparked an onslaught by Daniel Noboa's government against organized crime, with modest achievements by my account (authorities have seized close to 200 tons of drugs so far this year).

As I have steadfastly maintained, this is the product of unlawfully preventing sovereign people from choosing themselves to imbibe and medicate themselves as they choose. These problems are features that criminals in government profit from, so they are deliberately inflicted on people to fuel black markets that funnel immense sums of money to corrupt officials.

This is the consequence of disarming populations, who would themselves prevent gangs of criminals from desecrating civil society. It is impossible for government alone to provide security - particularly when infested with corruption that is fueled by crime, which is always a feature of institutions of every kind and stripe - and an armed people alone can secure themselves.

Again, this problem is created by malevolent criminals that gain power in institutions, which are not people, are inhuman, necessarily inhumane, unborn, undying, cannot be hanged, will not feel pain, and cannot love their neighbors as only human people can do. Institutions are inhuman, and can never improve on enabling real human people to rule themselves.

The world is collapsing into anarchotyranny, America obviously and rapidly descending into barbarism as it succumbs to the very corruption detailed in the OP. Uncontrolled immigration weaponized by the US government enables corruption at unimaginable scales to profit from the armed gangs that are imported by corrupt officials to commit every kind of criminal activity possible, and funnel some of the proceeds of those crimes to corrupt government officials. Venezuelan gangs imported by this means are beginning to take over American businesses by force, which has been used in the Ukraine to fund Volodomyr Zelensky's Presidential campaign, with the obvious consequences we observe in the Ukraine today, and before that in S. Africa, which also shows what comes of it.

These aren't accidents, or stupid mistakes. These are crimes against humanity undertaken by psychopaths that enrich themselves by slaughter and torture of civilians. The solution is freedom. Whatever the problem, free people will themselves surmount it, and as the suffering worsens and eventually becomes intolerable by societies of people that are inherently sovereign, whose authority to rule themselves is a part of them they were born with, like arms and eyes, free people will eventually solve it, by force if necessary. Since the advent of humanity, across prehistorical time and history, it is demonstrable that from time to time populations inevitably revolt against corrupt government and institutions that parasitize them at horrific cost to human life and felicity.

Such time is coming if the corruption and criminal abuse of society by institutions is not controlled by good and competent leadership. Every day such corruption continues it becomes more intrasigent and difficult to control by non-violent means, and the suffering and devastation that will result from the eventual violence is worsened. The ongoing conquest of the world by such corrupt and immensely wealthy criminals will not long succeed even if that conquest is successful, because anarchotyranny is intolerably and progressively more criminal and parasitic over time, and eventually humanity will arise to destroy the evil that has gained power over them.

Trump isn't lying. Watch the video. Control of 'official media' is propaganda, and the black market profits of corrupt politicians is protected by censorship and propaganda. The US government has imported these gangs, housed them there against local opposition, and it is to enable this criminal seizure of assets that funnels money to corrupt officials.

You demonstrate you are sovereign every moment of every day, as you alone have the authority and ability to will your heavy hand to your weary brow to wipe the dripping sweat of your hard labors. No one nor nothing else has that ability or authority, and the laws of physics, the very structure of the universe itself, mandates that sovereignty is yours alone. This reality is unchangable, and every swindle or deception that fools people failing to understand this and act accordingly will eventually cause it's own destruction. The longer it takes to face facts and implement sound and just polities, the worse the consequences and suffering when such solution is implemented.
