Imagine being a realtor for one day. Your duty would be to sell one house, but you would not be paid for that job. Of course, you would have some benefits, like the opportunity to spend in that house a month or so, before the new owners move in. There are risks, as in every job, as you don't know what that property looks like and where it is, but you have to decide to do it or refuse the offer.
As we are in the field of imagination I could say yes to it. I should have made a detailed plan though, regarding how to arrive there and what to do to successfully sell the property. I should look for the good things that the house offers and also the flaws and shortcomings. Yes, just concentrate on the good sides.
My mission starts now.
I get the coordinates to arrive at the place. The old, good GPS helps me as there is no street sign or number on the house. As a first great thing, I see a lot of greenery around the house. Pine trees, shrubs, grass. We are in nature!
I think I see also mountains and a water surface. A lake maybe? Freshwater is granted, that's good. I see a very good construction material used for the walls. Stone.
Nothing beats keeping the house cool on summer days. And the same is true for winter. If you heat the house, the warmth will not escape through the thin walls. The stone will also protect you from wind, rain and other bad weather conditions.
Just look at how straight this wall is. It doesn't matter how old is the house, the wall didn't even bend. Another plus for the choice of construction material.
A garden is a perfect place to grow your food. Look, we have here blackberries in the backyard. Oh, and what is this, on the wall? Can you spot it?
A closer look:
A little yellow flower, growing from the stone wall. It greets the guests that come to the house although it is a bit fragile. When there is a lot of wind one has to hold it to stay calm (just in case you want to take a photo of it. If not, you can leave it to wave to the gusts, as if one would wave with a hand as a greeting sign).
After that nice exterior tour, it is time to enter the house and see what the interior looks like. Just be prudent and step carefully over this high threshold.
Have you ever seen that? Having more fruits, in the house. Isn't it just great? And natural, green carpet throughout the house. I know, it maybe looks like grass, but it is a new movement. More and more architects will decide to implant this feature in new constructions.
The house has several windows that give a lot of light. Very luminous interior, you can also see it... and when you look through this opening you can enjoy different landscapes. You can choose what to see; if you fancy seeing green background...
Or blue background. Like a screensaver on your laptop or phone, you can choose with no effort. Well, maybe you have to change the angle and direction so you have this... but anyway, isn't it cool?
As not everyone likes those tiny windows, here we have a more spacious one. And what a unique shape of the window. You can't find it in every house.
It beautifully fits into the shape of the whole wall. Don't tell me that this is not outstanding and exclusive!
Looking toward the opposite side we can see a bit more stones on the floor. Hmm, it can seem like a disaster, but it is not. The previous owner manually selected those stones and made an artwork so at the same time you feel the artistic touch of the property. That can be just a plus.
Another wonderful possibility in this house is to climb to its roof. Yeah, you don't see the roof, it is a transparent one; but look, climbing up to the wall the view of the lake can be appreciated better. It has a lovely turquoise colour and if you are still not satisfied with the sight, no problem.
Just a few minutes of walking and claiming to a little hill and voilà. You have limitless views:
My imaginary real estate agent job finishes here. If I get positive responses, maybe I will spend a month in this house, in pure nature. I guess the internet connection will not be an issue there, or...?
