Hello and welcome to my page. I am @blesy. This is my entry to the question of the week challenge. Kindly follow me as i share my view on the topic which states that "Can Spirituality and Technology Live Together?"
Spirituality has been in existence since the earth creation before the deploment of technology. This shows that spirituality on its own can survive without technology but it may require much more energy to obtain its desirable result because technology ease the stress of spiritual activities by the use of megaphones 📣 and instrumental gadgets used for worship or fellowship.
When something has been in existence for many years and found a new advent to support its use, initially they might not correlate well till a certain moment they will tend to cope with each other. That's similar to the case of technology and spirituality. Many are already terming this technological era as the advent of endtime where the spiritual faith of many individuals is waxing colder due to technological advancement since we spend more time on gadgets than carrying out our spiritual tasks or exercises.
The world today would have still been in its primitive stage without the evolution of technology coming in place. Acheiving spiritual missions would have been much more strenuous without the use of technology and only few people should have gotten access to a more general spiritual lifesytle. Life should have been more like a mystery and frustration to many spiritual workers who wished to extend the measure of spirituality to the nook and crannies of their vicinity, community, countryand the owtld at large. With technology we can see how possible we can watch television programs and connect to our spiritual prigrimages. This indeed, is a step forward.
Should we now say we should go back to the era of no technology to boost our spiritual sensitivity? There's no doubt that life expectancy was on the high side as there was less radioactivity. We cannot because of the good effect technology has brought. Technology is the fastest jet that helps pass information faster than a post office in a blinking of a eye. To me i will like to say "Spirituality and Technology" can live together but there will be bound to be conflict based on primitive system of most spiritual leaders who thinks technologyis satanic.
I Hope I've been able to clear my opinion on why spirituality and technology can coexist. But one thing i want you to note is that technology is born out of spirituality because whatever nature thing we see today, came out of the spiritual world. So, technology can live with spirituality but take note; there's bound to be contradictions one way or the other so far the tooth is capable of bitting the 👅 when eating at times.
