It's a season of rain and many people are achieving there year goals already.
It's a season to plant and also to harvest.
Here in Niger Nigeria, Gbagyi are hervesting corn and planting maize for the second time in a year by november the corn will be dried up and taken home which also makes easier for farmers to dry up the corn for just a short period of time compared to August as it takes time to dry up because of constant rainfalls.

Ggagyi Silos(Dabwu)
The world lives in season with time and we follow the season to plant, born, die, smile, cry and more.
Thus pattern of silos is build by Gbagyi people in Niger, Abuja(FCT), Kaduna, Kogi and Nasarrawa, it is the best form of storage stystem and can store all kinds of grain and root tubers.
Dry grains, root tubers and fruits can be stored in this silos, the silos regulate heat and moisture the small window can be open for some times depends on what is stored.
There are different kinds of silos mould by people for some reason, some have halls round the silos but some just a window. All are build with clay completely before been covered by knitted shrubs bushes and some are just above the window level and covered same way or with zinc.
This silos is made for multiple purpose aside of preserving grains under the silos or round the pillar is a shelter for birds such as chickens, ducks and a place to lay and hatch eggs and a hidden place against hawks and cats as some are well covered were there are cats.
There are silos that are well build with clay completely to the top and above the window level as a house for pegions. My mums uncle has such silos.
Silos has so many importants to Gbagyi culture as stated here in Niger, Kaduna Nasarrawa, Kogi, Abuja, of Nigeria.
