Karma Is A What?

I love this topic and I'm glad that all opinions are welcome. In my own opinion i would say there's nothing like destiny, those are just some fairy tales woven into the history of the world.

Karma definitely exists, whatever you do surely comes back to you. You can't extend a hand of gratitude or show an act of kindness without getting rewarded. The other way round, you can't go around doing evil, killing people, cheating others and go Scot free without being hit by karma.

On this post, I'll be giving you reasons why I don't believe in destiny and also why I believe in the existence of karma.

First and fore most, I prefer to believe in things that I can see or at list prove with some level of facts. Growing up, I was told that my destiny is already written and I had a great destiny and all that. My question is how do they know this, how do they know that my destiny would be great. Is there a place where you can look into and see your destiny like in the movies. There's no standard proof of the existence of destiny. When you think of Karma, the proof of it's existence is not far fetched. I have seen and heard stories of people who are successful today, if you listen to their story you would see that their success was a result of the good they have been doing as they climbed the success ladder. In the same way most people who end up in a bad fix, if you dig into their past you will probably find some skeletons in their cupboard.

Destiny is pretty much scam to me. I've seen people who claim to have the power of telling your destiny, at the end of the day it is just a means to make more money and deceive the people. Some of them tell you basic things like; you will be great, you will be rich, there's a witch in your family. Anybody can say these things, my opinion if you can really see the future and tell one's destiny, would be much better if you give us the details like do I become a doctor, how many children do I have, what direction does my life take. This is why I'd rather believe in the existence of karma, because in this case you don't need anybody to tell you the out come of your life. You already know what to expect based on the kind of life you are living and the actions you take daily.

There's another angle to this, someone can actually tell you your destiny in every tiny details, filling your head with the things you want to hear. They might end up collecting a huge amount of money, even if it's all for free my point is that there's no way to tell if what they told you is true or not. When your life eventually plays out in a different way, the fortune teller will be long gone. There are people who would hear their destiny and it would change their mentality. For instance, one might be told that they are destined to be doomed, and this totally changes their life making them give up on life and give up on every chance of fighting for a better future. They believe that destiny cannot be changed, therefore they accept defeat and wallow in their failure. In the same way, someone might be told that he has a great destiny ahead of him, this could make him lazy around, stepping on people's toes without thinking of the consequences and always reminding himself that his 'great' destiny can never be changed.

In summary, I don't really believe that a thing like a predestined outcome of one exists. Who writes these destinies and how are those destined to be poor selected and how are those destined to be rich selected. In my opinion, it doesn't sound so good sending someone to the world to Live a life of poverty and wretchedness.

I agree with this
Most times because someone is told of their destiny ,then tend to work towards the fufilment of that destiny whether for good or for bad

hi @doubleworld, just reading this post in Dreemport now. Please could you change the source referencing for your photo so that the link takes the reader to the page in Pixabay that shows the photo AND the photographers name...so click on the actual photo in Pixabay and it will open up on a Photographer page view of the photo, then use that link in your post. Please could you correct this now so that we can screen your post through for curation this evening 😊 EDIT: This is the link and referencing format that you should have used Mohamed Hassan I have screened your post through for public curation tomorrow but will not be able to do this again unless you submit your posts to Dreemport using the correct photo source referencing 😉 They will, unfortunately, be rejected by the screeners going forwards with the reason "Incorrect Image Sourcing". If you need any assistance on how to do this please message me and I will be happy to help. It really is just a simple case of clicking through one extra step on Pixabay 😊
