We tag ourselves successful when we feel accomplished. Success is a concept that evolves with time, from generation to generation and season to season. To some, success is having a lot of material items, such as a house, a fleet of cars, pricey materials, or two or more degrees of honor. While for some, success is defined as the accomplishment of their objectives, undertakings, or achievements. We can define success based on different perspectives of people's beliefs or mindsets.
How We Define Success
The majority of people believe that success is defined by money when in reality, success is defined by a variety of factors. Good health, inner peace, an abundance of happiness and love, and a sense of purpose are all examples of success. Because we as humans are canal and we can never be satisfied, the more things you gain, the more things you'll be willing to buy, and they're only temporary, can we call that success? NO. Success in the realm of spirituality is considerably more than that; we can say it's a success that has a relationship with a supernatural being or power.
Success in the realm of spirituality necessitates sacrifice, hard effort, patience, tenacity, focus, and a good attitude toward all challenges.
Humans have a strong desire for long-term fulfillment or success, which can never be obtained through material items, and this leads to a sense of emptiness or void in man, which can only be filled through a spiritual impact or encounter.
Spirituality assists us in expanding our awareness beyond possession to achieve the highest level of qualities required for success.
What We Call Spirituality
Spirituality aids in the discovery of purpose and the realization of dreams, and when combined with accomplishment, it allows us to become more aware of who we are and what we want to do. Spirituality is a part of who we are; it is the practice of utilizing one's inner energy or spirit in all aspects of one's life. It satisfies our desire to find meaning in life and to deal with personal problems. Spirituality can be linked to our interactions with others, the world, and The Almighty Being – God. When we talk about our belief, faith, virtues of a better life, and power, we say spirituality in religion; however, when we express it in deeds to others, kindness, humility, meditation, exercise, dancing, and connecting to the natural world and atmosphere, we say spirituality in non-religious terms.
Success In Spiritual Perspective
Spiritual success can be defined as accomplishing, realizing, and attaining a sense of fulfillment through a spiritual state. If we are to follow the road of religion, spiritual success requires the presence of a spiritual/supernatural person, which can only be attained by those who believe in the existence of someone named GOD.
This necessitates a close relationship with the creator, as well as the development of virtues necessary for constructing and giving purpose to our lives, such as faith, integrity, love, fortitude, generosity, and hope (having a successful mindset).
When life has lost its meaning and a search for meaning is required, spirituality allows an individual to focus on things that are important to good living. Meditation, which is a part of spirituality, maybe the greatest route ahead in such a moment.
Personal Experience
Personally, with my academic accomplishments thus far, when things don't make sense or when the pressure is heavy on my shoulders, I always take everything into a spiritual perspective. I would earnestly pray for wisdom and exceptional insight when studying and even when studying for exams. Spirituality, when joined with hard effort and dedication, produces extraordinary outcomes.
Spirituality provides a foundation for a positive mindset, which aids in staying on track for success in any effort one may be involved in.
Inner peace and good health are also important aspects of spirituality for obtaining success in life; when your inner man is at peace and harmony, your body is in the best possible position to take on obligations.
- Spirituality provides man with the power and energy he needs to face the hurdles he may face in his quest for achievement; one's mental condition is in sync with the reality that defeat is never acceptable.
To summarize, spirituality is the only way to become a better person and achieve actual achievement more straightforwardly than physically would allow. It aids in the development of confidence, happiness, purpose, and meaningful life, all of which are important for success in life.
