This is possible because it brings balance to the should density,it also helps in supplying required nutrients to the soil and also help to retain the nutrients. Another good thing is that it wards off pest and diseases and slow down the rate of weeds in the soil.
Retains Water
Compost helps to retain and sustain water which aids the growth of the plants. This singular benefit saves you from the cost of setting up an irrigation for plants since water is conserved
Makes soil more Productive
Compost enhances productivity in soil and also maintains it health. It also contribute positively to organisms in the soil that Spurs growth such as worm,bugs and the like.
Maximize waste.
Compost are majorly made from waste,instead of waste flying around. It can be maximize by turning it into compost which will help control waste in the environment and also enrich the soil.

Compost helps to control erosion in soil,this is very possible because of the ability of compost to slow down the rate at which water penetrate it. It also binds soil together such that they are glued and stick. This reduces the effect of erosion on the soil.
