Particularly west africa, Nigeria to be precise cassava is one plant is so commonly found as many farmers engaged in growing cassava because of its numerous benefits and its will to survive at all cost! Yes, thats cassava very resilient and thrive under any weather conditions.

Cassava which is a food crop to some its also a cash crop, I mean so many things are derived from cassava. Apart from being eaten, there is alaso cassava flakes or flour is gotten here, for places like Nigeria that cassava is produced on a large scale, it is often exported to other countries for money...
Cassava stem
But one of the fascinating features of cassava is how it grows to the point of harvesting
after few months of planting
It should be known that it is important to keep cassava stem even after harvesting so as to replant.
Because cassava is only cultivated through its stem..
Usually advisable to be planted when the rain is at high...
No much techniques in planting, just get your soil prepared, a sandy loamy, always advisable to get a wide land, you cant be planting cassava on a small piece of land.
cassava also embraces mixed cropping, meaning while you plant your cassava you can add numerous crops alongside, good examples are maize, beans, melon, potatoes.
I need to add that cassava are tubers crop, they grow and develop right inside the soil, and it will take a year or more depending on the specie, before being harvested.
