Today the issue of how our personalities are often misinterpreted to be an exhibition of pride without actually being examined properly to understand who the person is and why he or she acts the way she does.

Now certain people actually tend to not care about what goes on in their environment thanks to an 'I don't care attitude, and often use their personality as an excuse which is often detrimental in the long run.

It should be known that it is not pride but simply their personality at play since they do not appreciate human relations and small talks.

It is very well understood that people have various temperaments and personalities hence influencing our decision and ability to relate with people. But at the same time, we need to observe our environment and act accordingly especially when complains are being made about some behaviours we exhibit unknowingly so our personalities will not be misunderstood and misjudged as we acting as if we are better than those around us, thus the misconception of pride.

Now you don't have to displease yourself to please others but at the same time certain adjustments need to be made in order to live peacefully with those around you as no man is an island. We are social beings hence we cannot live alone.

People expect you to act and think a certain way. Unfortunately it shouldn't be like that since we don't all have the same personality.
It's not always about pride. As an introvert I'm simply being misunderstood.

It's unfortunate that what society wants from us is not the same as what our personality allows!

Being quiet doesn't necessarily mean that a person is having pride or wants to prove his class. You. might want to remain quiet at times but severally, people misinterpreted that for pride.

Bitter truth. Not everything is about pride but personality difference.

Often times 'minding ones business' can be mistaken for pride but in some cases it could be a trait of pride if that person is being care-free.
My advice would be for us to be less judgemental of people we don't know up-close as they might be dealing with a thing or two.

Yes, pride may be exhibited in the long run if the person is not willing to observe where he or she is getting things wrong and make necessary adjustment.

Being judgemental would take us nowhere but proper examination of people's personality is what would allow us understand them better so it will be decided if the person is simply an introvert and shy or is having a character of pride.

Thanks for the contribution. I appreciate it!

You've addressed a crucial topic here, it's very important we understand the temperament of those we relate with so we don't mistake their gentleness for pride.

Yes. Proper examination is necessary so we wouldn't jump into conclusions regarding people's personality.
