Ok I'm not here to lie to just bash everyone and every company that's involved with the music industry. Let's admit we're at war with them! Yet lies, deception, and smears aren't going to help here.
Ok so in the music industry there's lots and lots of labels there's also lots of money including money that hasn't been paid to who earned it. There are checks that haven't been collected there is a mess within the system but if you've come up it's not bothering. So here's the catch with labels they can bound your ownership with contracts some people are different. YOU however can create your own contract and agreement as well. You could become an indie which a lot of people choose so they wouldn't have to be under a label, they're the label.
Next is the bigger problem the multi billion dollar industries like Spotify who can distribute your music. Royalties are paid out that's less than a penny per play. Do you think places like Spotify would want to payout more, no but people have the power to make a difference. Recently the United States made changes towards musicians who didn't receive payments for their music. They've decided to create a non profit to fund royalties if such a problem occurs. This was a step but we're not finished here. Far from it...
We need more then what's being offered to us for our music. You would think that musicians would be highly rewarded which is the case for people who get multiple plays around the world but it's not the case for most underground artists. Musicians who've been successful are artists who've made different strains of money look at Jay Z for example he's not just a rapper he also has his own record company and clothing line. He thought more of working for his self then just working under one label. I encourage musicians and just about everyone to consider that mindset.
So with that being said I truly believe Beatzchain is the way to go for transitioning the system. Cryptocurrency has already out beat the music industry on a scale when it comes to income. With Beatzchain our tokenomics is prepared as a payments system to appreciate value and work as a utility.
