Have a nice Sunday everyone. How are you today? I hope you have a good day. Today I'm going to tell you about a nice event we did with my friends last week. The rocks, which are about a kilometer or two away from our village, are called Ulukaya head. This is a high place and there is a big cliff below the cliffs. We haven't been here for a long time. We made a plan with our friends and decided to come here.
Güzel bir pazar gününden herkese selam olsun. Bugün nasılsınız? Umarım gününüz güzel geçer. Bugün sizlere geçen hafta arkadaşlarımla beraber yaptığımız güzel bir etkinlikten bahsedeceğim. Köyümüze yaklaşık bir, iki kilometre uzaklıkta olan kayalıklara, Ulukaya başı diyorlar. Burası yüksek bir yer ve kayalıkların aşağısında büyük bir uçurum var. Uzun zamandır buraya gelmiyorduk. Arkadaşlarımızla bir plan yapıp buraya gelmeye karar verdik.
When we go up to these rocks, we come out of a big field and it is a very steep field. Since we went by motorbike, I went as far as I could in the field with my motorbike so as not to walk. I finished more than the way. We walked the rest of the way and took a breather. Then we lit our fire and found two smooth stones to put our teapots on and filled the kettles with water and set them on the fire. Here, they call this shape of putting stones under the teapots (making a sphere).
Bu kayalıklara çıkarken de büyük bir tarladan çıkıyoruz ve çok dik bir tarla. Motorlorla gittiğimiz için yürümemek için motorumla tarlada çıkabildiğim yere kadar çıktım. Yolun fazlasını bitirmiştim. Kalan yoluda yürüyerek çıktık ve biraz soluklandık. Sonrasında ateşimizi yaktık ve çaydanlıklarımızı koymak için düzgün iki taş bulduk ve çaydanlıklara suyu doldurup ateşin üstüne koyduk. Bizim burda çaydanlıkların altına bu şekil taş koyulmasına ( küre yapımı ) derler.
After our water boiled, we brewed our tea, we increased our fire to make it a little more embers, because we were going to make walnuts and potatoes on the embers. While sipping our tea, my friend cooked the walnuts on the embers for a little while, I was wondering if I was going to eat walnuts on embers for the first time. It wasn't what I expected, but it still tasted good. Then we buried our potatoes in the embers and waited for the potatoes to cook while drinking tea and chatting with the view. No matter how much fire we lit, our embers were a little insufficient and the potatoes were cooked a little late.
Suyumuz kaynadıktan sonra çayımızı demledik, biraz daha köz olması için ateşimizi arttırdık çünkü közde ceviz ve patates yapacaktık. Bir yandan çayımızı yudumlarken arkadaşım cevizleri közde biraz pişirdi, ilk defa közde ceviz yiyecektim merak ediyordum. Beklediğim kadar olmadı ama tadı yinede güzeldi. Sonra patateslerimizi köze gömdük ve manzara eşliğinde çayımızı içip sohbet ederek patateslerin pişmesini bekledik. Ne kadar ateş yaksakta közümüz biraz yetersiz kaldı ve patatesler biraz geç pişti.
After eating our potatoes, another plan came back, to go back to the village and play ball in front of the school. We packed up our stuff and came back right away and got ready to play ball and got together and played some ball. It was a beautiful day to the fullest for us, and I wanted to share it with you. Patateslerimizi de yedikten sonra yine bir plan döndü, köye geri dönüp okulun önünde top oynamak.
